  • Intermittent Denial of Service attack is causing downtime. Looks like a kiddie 5 min rental. Waiting on a response from upstream.

Half Life 2 was released November 16th 2004.

We still haven't seen HL3.

Wow, I'm surprised that Valve hasn't acknowledged the anniversary at all. Not even a sale on the Half-Life games.

EDIT: Well at least the Cinematic Mod has finally been completed today!

I remember when Half Life 1 turned 10 years old they discounted the game to 50 cents for a day.

I think ValvE ignores half life since it's not giving them money like Hat Fortress or DOTA
It could give them much money when it comes out. All the fans, those who hunger for more FPS games, will flock to Gamestop and Steam and buy Half-Life 3, giving Valve more money and Gaben more snacks for the snack bar.

maybe they are scared it won't be up to the expectations we wanted. they don't want to pull a Duke Nukem Forever, but personally I just want the series to finally end and I can stay peace at mind.

Happy birthday, Half-Life 2. You introduced me into gaming on my PC after a long, long hiatus and being solely reliant on consoles for my vidya.

As for why there isn't any Half-Life 3... I think this explains it the best...
