Hannah Mouncey, formerly Callum Mouncey is a transwoman man, who failing to qualify for any major Australian Rules Football team, decided to play second string on Australia's national handball team, where he sat on the bench for 22 games. Not wanting to give up his dream of playing in the AFL, Mouncey discovered the power of gender fluidity. In 2016, he announced his intention to start wearing a dress and wig and to then try out of the Women's division of the AFL.
The AFL-W was (predictability) less then thrilled with this move and attempted to stop the whole thing, denying her application for the 2017 draft. Que the shrill shrieking of transphobia by cis-normative white women.
This yearshe he has its demands met, and was permitted to enter the AFL-W. Love wins, but as well all know here at the farm, victory is only half the battle for people like this. And dear Callum has engaged a very active social media presence where he does battle against the evil transphobes and attempts to show just how wrong they are about him not being feminine in the slightest.
In a lengthy statement declaring victory, Mouncey claims that science was always on her side that he is a she, and that this alone should justify granting him the right to play with real girls. You can read this exercise in sperging out here.
Xirs youtube statement that is brave and powerful. Also, the voice.
In another article, his coach assures people he is all woman and does not have any advantage whatsoever over natural women on the field, assuring all that science is on the side of the right (which its not btw). He even goes so far to say that being female is all about whether or not you "feel" female.

“So after all that; guess who’s allowed to play football after all,” Mouncey said in a tweet. She then issued a lengthy statement, where she welcomed the AFL’s decision and said she looks forward to hopefully playing this season.
“While I wholeheartedly thank those who supported me through this time, I will not and I think it would be inappropriate for me to thank the AFL for allowing me to do something open to every other Australian,” Mouncey said. “The science and research has supported [this decision] all along.
“Had we simply gone by the research at the start, we could have avoided the whole saga that has taken place completely. I am however grateful that they took the time to look at this situation properly, as it is complex.”
She added the line of questioning and “circus” around her issue over the last four months has highlighted a lack of understanding around the science of gender transition, which Mouncey understands. “But more importantly and worryingly, it showed a disturbing willingness by those who don’t understand it to dismiss research and evidence,” she said.
Mouncey called for more health support for people going through gender transition, plus their family and friends. She also feels that the issue became much more than her bid to play in an AFL women’s competition.
“Yes, the AFL may prefer that I did not exist or chose to go and do something else, but that it is not how it is and we are not people to be ignored in the hope that will happen,”

Hannah Mouncey's coach at the Ainslie Football Club in Canberra has dismissed concerns that transgender players are stronger than other women on the field.
His comments come after the AFL ruled Mouncey was eligible to play in any state or territory women's league.
Mouncey, 28, was barred from the national AFL-Women's draft last October.
And there is still no guarantee that she will be allowed to play in AFLW next season.
Chris Rourke, Mouncey's coach, said he initially questioned how fair it was for her to play on a women's team.
"I thought oh you know it's unfair — but really it's not," he said.
"I'm a coaching dinosaur, I've been around for a long time, so it was all new to me.
"In our case Hannah is a really big person, but she doesn't play a brutal game of footy, she moves quite slowly.
"Then you realise it's a massive decision, especially in Hannah's case, it's a massive decision to come out as a woman.
"I've learnt a lot and I'm a lot more broadminded about it and realised how hard it is for these girls and people to adjust to becoming transgender."
Rourke went on to offer up some advice to other coaches on dealing with transgender recruits.
"Sit down, chat to her about her background and let her speak and what they go through and how they're feeling.
"It's just not about playing sport, you've really got to know the person and you'll realise they certainly are female."
