ShadowJoe (Powerword: Harold Hall) considers himself to be an anti-cyberbullying internet vigilante whose mission it is to "document all manner of assholes and pricks". He has a particular hateboner for the various *chans and for ED. Take a look at his creed:

Given his quest, you might wonder why he's on such a mission. Did EDers kill his parents in an alley? Or did the internet discover that he was a gross pedo who bitched wherever and whenever he could that the Feds were keeping him from that sweet underage poontang?

I am pretty sure he was thrown off TV Tropes at some point. His complaints to it are way too personal and detailed for them to be impersonal.

ETA: Yup, he was thrown off Tropes for being a creepy pedo and flying into a demented rage when he stalked and harassed a 15 year old girl who complained about being hit on by grown men.

The potato man in these videos went by the name of Colonel McBadass on TVTropes. Despite TVTropes being infamous for being a haven to anime obsessed pedophile apologists, he was banned when he ranted at a 15 year old girl when she said she felt creeped out by adult men hitting on her. After being called out on his behavior by someone going by Roland Jones on a different forum, he decided to post up a video to show the whole world his greasy opinions on statutory rape laws.

I think I've come across why he hates Reddit:

He deleted his Reddit account (/u/ShadowJoeKnows) which was the moderator of the subreddit /r/Redditorvsreddit. Not sure what he did with it except post links to his own videos on Youtube. The sub was moved to another user after that user requested it due to not having an active moderator. This jives with his statement in one of his blogs that Reddit took something that belonged to him.

I've found some of his reddit comments and they indicate a truly EUPHORIC AND DEEP mind that was slapped down by things like logic, laws, and reason in the responses and he proceeds to get mad. This accounts for his description of Reddit as being: "Reddit: An online news site made by Armchair Intellectuals for Armchair Intellectuals. Filled to the brim with some of the most pompous, douchey, Madmanchildren you're likely to ever meet, the mods are corrupt and biased, and the members are arrogant pricks. This site fucking sucks, plain and simple.
They also happen to be thieves, having stolen a subreddit *I* created."
