It's been a while since the true spergfest that is the dormant Harry Potter fandom has dumped it's particular brand of autism into the void.
Apparently JK Rowling, back in 2007, revealed that Dumbledore was gay. I suspect back then it was just to appease the blossoming snowflake crowd and give them something to latch onto for more fanfiction, keeping her franchise alive.
Fast forward 10 years and now she and the director of the expanded universe movie franchise "Fantastic Beasts" have awoken the Potter spergs because the director didn't outright say Dumbledore would be sucking face with a guy to show he's gay.
Never mind the fact that the director acknowledges it, references the cannon, indicates that YES these two fall in love... and this is only the second film in a 5 part series and only the first to have the character in it. Apparently the virtue signalling faggots would only be happy if the two ended up naked in bed together 10 mins into the movie holding hands and gazing lovingly into each other's eyes?
This has managed to piss off both the LGBTQLMNOP crowd AND the Potter cannon spergs.
EVERYTHING has to be a god damn inclusive message these days. Even movies about fantasy worlds where kids are given wands at 11 years old and taught how to blow shit up.

It’s been just over a decade since J.K. Rowling surprised fans by revealing Hogwarts’ beloved headmaster Albus Dumbledore was gay, and was even in love with the notorious dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald during his youth until the two had a rather epic falling out.
With the next film in the Fantastic Beasts franchise introducing a young Dumbledore for the first time (played by Jude Law) and focusing on the great wizard’s pursuit of the fugitive Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) in Paris, fans have wondered: Will Dumbledore’s sexuality be a part of the story? Or will it once again, like in the Harry Potter films, not be addressed?
According to The Crimes of Grindelwald director David Yates, this year’s sequel, at least, will not directly reference Dumbledore’s sexuality.
“Not explicitly,” Yates replied when asked if the film makes it clear that Dumbledore is gay. “But I think all the fans are aware of that. He had a very intense relationship with Grindelwald when they were young men. They fell in love with each other’s ideas, and ideology and each other.”
