Has anybody ever visited the game place while driving through Charlottesville? I don't mean no shit, I mean a legit visit to see what the store is like.

I always meant to whenever I'd drive to Staunton, but I was either low on funds that day or on a tight schedule, I forgot.

If I lived in the area, I would go to THe GAMe PLACe, the Charlottesville and Ruckersville McDonald's locations and Goodwill, and look at 14BC, I would try to become a field agent too.

If I lived in the area, I would go to THe GAMe PLACe, the Charlottesville and Ruckersville McDonald's locations and Goodwill, and look at 14BC, I would try to become a field agent too.

I found out that he lived about 45 minutes away from me my last week in college 3 years ago. My heart sank a lil. I would've been an amazing field agent.

It would have seemed even bigger when it was just a comic and game store.

Anyone from Virginia know what THe GAMe PLACe was originally? I'm venturing a guess that it was in another location when Robert Lightburn (the founder who was a sex offender) founded it, then moved it to a closed-down Heilig-Meyers furniture store in 2000 or so. The service counter, carpet and general decor seem to say to me that it used to be a Heilig-Meyers store.

I did once when I was visiting my grandparents in the area and met one of the managers, I think Madeline? (I forgot her name). I only bought some model kits but it was a nice place. I can see why Chris wants to go back there. Mike was there but he was swamped by some people since there was an event. I did not want to bother the poor guy.
