Has Chris been exhausted as a Lolcow? -

What do you guys think? Has Chris given us everything he has to offer? Are we just holding onto a relic of what the internet was before things like Reddit and "meme culture?" Are we just being cruel at this point?

I personally don't think it was cruel since he kept coming back for more. Sure, the whole thing started off cruel and certain ween kids who tell retards to stick Crayola Model Magic up their asses were cruel, but for the most part I think the CWCki has just been documenting him and, in a way, trying to help him see how fucked up he really is.

Now it just seems like perhaps we're being assholes and not leaving a weary, deluded autistic man alone to his manipulative mother and his crossdressing ways.

If it wasn't for the "evil trolls" studying Chris like a lab experiment gone hideously but intriguingly wrong he would be truly alone. I think some of the trolling in the past has crossed a line into pointless cruelty but then that's my personal taste in humour. Mostly it seems to me to be a collection of frustrated white knights and others trying to teach Chris lessons in humility and responsibility. These are essential life skills that no-one else is going to care about teaching him. I also happen to find it funniest when Chris is put in situations that he can not handle due to his ego.

As to whether we've seen the last of Chris really being funny is hard to say. I will always hold out a very, very tiny fragment of hope that he will turn his life around and we'll get a string of "accountability" videos. That or a tomgirl comic.

I think that, at this point, Barb's being much more cruel to Chris than we could ever be to him by continuing talking about him and awaiting the next big update.

Depends if you're fine with the occasional FB outburst and leakages when he lets his guard down. If so, no. But it's doubtful we'll ever see the days of comic pages or weekly videos again.

I don't think Chris has been exhausted per se. The problem is he eventually wised up and learnt not to be so gullible. He'd believe practically anything anyone said at face value when trolling began but over the years he has actually learnt to spot trolling attempts and just doesn't fall for them as easily as he used to.

Of course, a lot of the lulz Chris provided were unprovoked and came from him doing his own thing. Chris is still perfectly capable of this sort of thing thanks to his autisitic logic but Barb has been holding onto the leash pretty tightly lately.

I mean, unless you're including his whole life or something, as far as the internet stuff goes, during a certain time period (between the beginning of ED/Jimmy Hill and say, Bob dying), almost all of what Chris did was provoked. Hell, a lot of the time, the things Chris did were specifically dictated to him.

That's true, but in my humble TRUE and HONEST opinion the stuff that Chris did with little to no suggestion was usually funnier than the stuff Chris was explicitly told to do. Shoving the Sonichu medallion up his ass bordered on sadistic, but Chris taking 'embrace your feminine side' to mean 'crossdress then get pissed off when people ask if I'm gay' just comes out of left field in a way only Chris can do.

Well unfortunately I only have access to public information so that's all I can base my opinions on but if the tomgirl thing was something of a troll plot then I see my idea of what Chris does of his own accord is mistaken.

I'm curious though, you mention Chris having actual gender issues. Can you explain more about that? My understanding of it was literally it being Chris' interpretation of embracing his femininity in another desperate nonsensical attempt at getting China. He did mention he'd be fine with Jackie taking him with a strap on though which was sort of odd.
