Someone posted in another thread:
If he really was serious about comics and stuff he ought to invest in a pc and a budget graphic tablet which adds up to approximatly $1000, which he could pay for it ($250 from his credit increase + $450 from his Ghostbuster Leggos + $300 from his other useless purchases early this year). I bet he could get support from some people. This way he at least does something with his life either for the better or for the worst. Now he's doing crazy stuff and double leeches money off of people. Whatever worst things is ahead of him he fully deserves it.

And it got me thinking that this could be the topic of debate in it's own thread; Is Chris/ has Chris ever been serious about making comics?
On one hand Chris loves sonichu, he calls him his 'son'. In Chris's mind the chaotic combo are alive and thriving in CWCville. He's been working on sonichu for years. So that's gotta mean he totally serious about making comics, right? Weeeeell...
On the other hand; Chris started drawing comics originally to show his worth to women, to be all like "look how creative I am! gibe da china pls". Chris stopped writing the comics for 5 years due to lazyness him 'losing his inspiration', and even when he was payed to make sonichu he only did 27/100 promised pages (not counting those prior to the donation). It seems that Chris was never interested to make sonichu for the sake of art, or sharing it with the world, or because he loves doing it - it's always an attempt to get girls or because trolls pushed him to do it.
But I'll let you decide that, please discuss.

Chris wants to see his imaginary Sonichu canon come to life, and comics were just his preferred method for a few years. Before that, it was "Sonichu's News Dash," and now it all seems to happen in Lego CWCville. Even when he was regularly putting out comics, he would leave out important plot and character information, and then fill it in the details later via Mailbag replies and CWCkipedia articles. The complete story only existed in his head.

This goes along with last year's promise to repost the old issues with all of the troll-inspired content removed. Chris wanted to return his story to its "pure" form, but that conflicted with both his laziness and the fact that the troll stories were mostly better than his.

From my point of view he was never serious about (However I would give him a benefit of a doubt if he was still doing it). Him drawing comics back in the days was a way to play escapism. Now those comics has been replaced by toys which he needs to fill since some was destroyed during the housefire.

If he really was serious then he would made some more and showed it off in his SEGA video. But all he has is just talk and no results. Also he made that video to get money to buy more toys so basically it's the same as e-begging.

Insofar as Chris has ever been serious about anything, which is not always easy to tell, considering his expectancy of maximum reward for minimum/no effort.

I miss Sonichu, just like the original Chris-Chan.
Sometimes, I wonder if Chris-Chan viewed Sonichu as his uninhibited alter ego. Rosechu would be a good way for Chris to go, he could write from his "feminine" perspective through her. If Chris did write a new comic for Rosechu, I am sure it would be twice as cringy given what Chris knows about sex and gender stereotypes.

I would say Chris is serious about Sonichu, however, how much of that seriousness in genuine delusion, or a genuine desire to earn money, is up to debate and seems to depend on the weather. He is most definitely not serious about Comics as a medium. Chris clearly wanted Sonichu to be an animated TV series, and he uses a lot of TV narratives (off-topic, 'filler' episodes, long verbal exposition, hell, he even used to rate the series according to TV age-ratings, and I think he used to call comics 'episodes'?) in his work. Comics are a compromise for him. Animation is incredibly hard, draining work for even the best of us, and Gamedev is a typically herculean task, so, Chris assumed comics were an 'easy' way of getting his beloved character out into the world. I think so long as Sonichu exists in some form of media Chris is creating, Chris is happy.

To me sonichu has always been for Chris by chris...sonichu is a coping mechanism for Chris, sure he'd love to make money on it but that's not it's true purpose..sonichu is the one thing Chris can control in his life...and I think that's why when trolls violated that space by making him add and remove things he didn't want to he just lost interest in the comics because he didn't control them anymore..now he uses Lego to reenact his sonichu scenes safe behind his walls where no troll can force him to make changes to sonichu

Assuming Chris wanted work that wasn't house-husbandry (or nothingness), he would want to be the "idea man," that fabled job that only exists in the fevered dreams of creative cows everywhere: the guy who sells his chicken scratches to a multinational entertainment conglomerate for a gazillion dollars, then essentially assumes control of everything by giving pitches the thumbs-up or thumbs-down like a debauched Roman emperor.

No, Chris only used comics as an easy medium to use to tell his stories.

Chris doesn't care about comics. When has he ever talked about them? I haven't even seen any convincing evidence that he reads the Archie Sonic series.

Let's not forget that Chris is a child. How many of us drew comics like Sonichu when we were kids? With fake adverts and shit. Difference being, we were seven.

Well he's ripped off specific panels verbatim so that's enough to me.
Archie Sonic is also where his use of "Prime" comes when talking about alternate universes.

Oh, interesting. I didn't realise he's ripped off Archie as well. Ok, well, I put it to you that he used to read comics, but sure doesn't now.

Which is not to say that he doesn't download $50 worth of digital comics every Wednesday. He just doesn't read them.

These images are the only pieces of evidence that we have that prove chris look at the Sonic comics. But aside from that there's really very little saying he was an avid comic reading, there's no images of a stack of comics in his pre-fire room. He might have just google'd "sonic comic fight" and found these images to rip off.
On the other had, it's not difficult to imagine that an autistic spoiled child like chris would buy everything to do with sonic.

Chris was and, to some degree, still is serious about the comics. The only problem is Chris is what I like to call a "motivational artist" in that he waits for "motivation" or "when he feels like it" to start drawing, and people who do that are hardly ever good artists. Not to mention Chris is horrendously lazy, and as such, he'd much rather spend his time doing something that requires zero effort such as building legos and playing PS4.

Teensy bit of powerlevelling, but I do engage in art from time to time, so I know about the whole "I don't feel motivated" aspect of it, but most artists (or at least the serious ones) push themselves to do it even when they don't feel like it. While Chris has been serious about making Sonichu popular, I think he's been so warped by his upbringing so as to feel that his art is perfect and doesn't need improvement... that and he's lazy, again. Plus with the trolling and his never-ending need to beat the trolls as opposed to just ignoring them like any rational human being, Chris is too depressed to do anything serious.

So, in short, Chris is serious about the comics. He's sent messages to Sega and Nintendo (by youtube, but he still attempted) begging for them to make his comic real. He's just so lazy, unmotivated, and autistic to do anything to improve his art or move on to something original.
