Not to sound like A-Log, but thinking about all of the people who have had a relationship in some sort of capacity (real people, not trolls) have come out of it with a incredibly negative experience. Michael Snyder, The Wallflower, Megan, Mary Lee Walsh, Rocky Shoemaker etc. The list goes on and on. I can not think of a single person who has had a positive outcome in associating with Chris. It is astonishing to look at the sheer amount of burned bridges and sudden hostility Chris has created with nearly everyone. Even his own parents have suffered from Chris and his tardery. Why is this?

In before "I'll never, ever, ever be like HIM."

Even his own parents have suffered from Chris and his tardery. Why is this?

He grew up improperly, uncontested. Not just by his parents (they're a given), but also by anyone who refused to deal with the 'tard except to pat him on the head and send him along his way.

Well, Anna, Chris seems to have had a positive impact on you. Why is this?

Me. I've learned a lot trying to keep this place on the Internet. :asperchu: I suppose I could have tried hosting a different community or webservice and it would have achieved the same results, but nothing motivated me until this opportunity presented itself. A forum is as simple as it gets, which helps a lot.

I suppose more directly it may have had a positive impact on Barb. She'd be very bitter and alone by this point. I mean, she is, but dangerously more so.

Chris is like a black hole of life that sucks all the joy and happiness of the people that's near him, his bitterness and hate is getting worse by day, not by week, not by month, not by year, this whole month has been proof of that, nuff said...

I think anybody who has spent a significant amount of time with Chris learned an important lesson in patience and when to bail the hell out.

Criticism immunity attempt!

You know, not to sound like A-Log, but I think Chris is the most evil person in history. I'm so much better than him and I hope he dies a horrible death to make up for all his sins.

HIs antics were really funny. That's positive.

That doesn't counts, because it's indirectly, if you find him funny, or if you use him as a counter-example, it's because of you, not him...

I have to wonder how much of that was refusal, and how much was simply because they weren't legally allowed. I personally think that if wee Christian had been sent out into the field to cut his own switch a few dozen times or so it would have done him a world of good, but these days that's "cruel" and can get parents into a shitload of trouble. And there's no way in hell the schools were going to touch him.

I have no evidence for it, but I think Bob probably tried a little corporal punishment at first because of his generation, but was resoundingly vetoed by Barb before each attempt, probably with the threat of police action, divorce, losing half his stuff etc. all to protect her poor baby Chrisshun.

The only positive impact Chris could ever have would be to donate his brain and body for scientific research upon his death.
