Context: He used Reductio ad hitlerum in a reply to an alog post in a community watch thread (namely Tranny Sideshows on Social Media), got mocked by three different users and proceeded to blogpost in that thread, thereby shitting up the thread with unfunny trash because he wasn't being retarded enough for it to be entertaining.Opposite for me, I have to censor myself here way more, or have a bunch of people jump on me and face threadban. Generally I can be more honest on "SJW" sites.
KF is actually fantastic for learning more about privacy, Null even sending notifications and checkups to tell people not to be spergs is a nice touch. The opposite actually. I came here to sperg about politics and say "wrong" things that'd get me cancelled on social media.
My socials are all vanilla and I rarely post on them. I've thought about purging them multiple times but realized that it'd be less suspicious to keep them up so people can see I'm just a normie who likes an anime or two and walk away. Being boring in public is pretty much the best insurance against doxxing and cancellation; why target a nobody, that won't rack up likes or karma or retweets. I'd also suggest making all your usernames on various sites different, it's harder to track your cross-platform activity that way.
What KF has made me a lot more paranoid about is privacy. I used to browse this site on Chrome lol, now I use Brave or Tor.
The part where you talked about reccomendations changing is why you should have your cookies clear out when you're done browsing. Most of the products that big tech release to make your life "simplier" are basically data harvesting machines.KF is actually fantastic for learning more about privacy, Null even sending notifications and checkups to tell people not to be spergs is a nice touch.
What makes me paranoid isn't KF or other people. It's when you try to limit your info and you still find your youtube reccomendations change based on shit you have said on totally different sites. Big tech is creepy as fuck and I don't even use their services that much. I can only wonder just how fucked people are if they or their family buys shit like Alexa.
Good thing there's not a supporters board that you have to pay 20 dollars to get into. Regular non-power users don't deserve to gaze upon such magnificence. I sometimes imagine what goes on in there and it's nothing short of glorious. It's definitely filled with cool people talking about how they paid in bitcoin. It must be what the elites feel like all the time.It has made me more cautious in some ways.
Basic privacy rules that used to be normal for parents to instill in their children before social media was a thing (never revealing any personal information such as real name, address, phone number etc.) have served me well.
What I didn't know is what kind of near autistic effort, sometimes over weeks or months, some people are willing to put towards doxing someone by social engineering. (Trying to get the target to trust them, act like they are their friend etc. just to get them to reveal personal information.)
That shit is scary, because even careful people can be vulnerable to that angle. You would ofc. have to be interesting enough to begin with.
imagine going to the internet and not tell lies...Not really. I have a lot of shit that I don't really care about people finding, but I gotta keep this shit separate from all of that if possible for obvious reasons.
