Have you actually gone to the source material? -

You know, one criticism I get about the CWCki is that it tends to be very A-Loggy at times, and that there's a feedback loop where pretty much every editor tries to out A-Log the last editor. I'm wondering if this is maybe because people don't actually listen to the Mumble chats or the various calls but rather just rely on the CWCki's summaries which have a tendency of not being very flattering.

So be honest - how many of you have actually listened to the various calls, chats, etc. or read the e-mails and whatnot related to Chris? I realize this is tricky as over time, the RapidShare accounts that host the files get deleted. I remember seeing a thread where someone asks what Clyde sounds like, even though there's a dozen or so Mumble chats with him, probably because those Mumble chats are no longer online for download. I remember hearing someone say they've never seen an uncensored version of Flying Elephants because again, the download link was down.

So I'm just wondering, and again, be honest - have any of you actually read or watched or listened to things pertaining to Chris, and if so, to what degree?

I've read/watched most of the source material. The Julie era content is still my favorite.

Yeah I have, infact, the reason I found out about Chris was due to me seeing the source material during the Chop Chop Master Onion Contest, when I was trying to help my little cousin enter. I remember fucking dying when I saw the video, and someone dropped his name in the PSN blogs and I feverishly googled it. I watched a lot of Chris' source material.

I think I'm pretty well versed in Christory's source materials. I've read all of the Wallflower-Chris-Tito correspondence, most of the emails leaked in 2008 and prior, and much of the Jackie emails and other assorted emails that have been leaked over the years. Ditto for IRC chatlogs and facebook messages. I also think I've watched most of Chris's videos that have been released on the internet. As to mumbles and phone calls, for the most part they're too long to listen to but I did read much of their transcripts. I think I've read most if not all of the Asperchu calls in their entirety.

I've listened to the Kacey, Alec and last Bluespike call. Haven't heard most mumble chats due to dead links, but i've read the transcripts.

Sometimes the summaries are a bit misleading or highlight something that is out of context.

Also, if anyone needs actual audio files, I can find them, I'm pretty sure.

Read all the Sonichu comics except the specials and watched some of Chris's videos. (Especially the "TAKE THAT PAGE DOWN NOW!" video which is my favourite)

Oh yeah I totally forgot about that. Thanks to Vivian's audiobooks, I can proudly/shamefully say that I went through all of the comics. I also read a lot of the shit Chris wrote on the CWCipedia, both the articles and the mailbags.

I have been working on watching and reading everything I just found him in 2012 so I am a bit late to the party to watch the lost stuff.

I personally find it rather difficult to watch a lot of Chris' videos due to the extremely laborious and disjointed way that he talks, they're usually about twice as long as they need to be because it takes him so damn long to say anything. I also pretty much refuse to watch anything disgusting, I have no desire to see Chris drink his own semen.
I prefer transcripts and emails as sources because I can go through them a lot quicker, and my all time favorite collection of Christorical source material is the Megan emails, it's pure, unadulterated Chris, and Megans reactions are that of a real person, not a fabrication, so you can't get any more untainted than that.

As for the cwcki in general, I take a lot of the filler with a grain of salt, I find the straight faced references to the outlandish claims of the trolls such as Clyde Cash's brothers suicide quite amusing, but there's clearly a lot of personal bias in more than a few of the articles.

I've watched pretty much all the videos and read the transcripts of the one's I haven't plus the mumble chats. I"ve also read all the emails. Unless there's someone like Kacey's dad or Alec to liven it up I get drove crazy by his voice.
