My nephew was playing Sonic Forces on my brother's PS4. I jokingly told my brother not to let his son grow up and make comics like Chris-Chan. He doesn't know much about Chris, but he at least got the reference and said, "Screw you."

I do among my autistic friends as the reference point for peak autism and then rank them in what level they are at. They all feel sympathise but think he is a asshole who needs to growup.

I was telling my dad about Chris-Chan but it turns that not only did he know who Chris-Chan is, but he was fully invested in his shenanigans from 08-09. Having a young father is weird.

A lot of people I know are aware of Chris and his antics. I'm pretty sure I had a few conversations about him during school.
Not a minor, my dad was just a young guy who made some poor choices.

I slowly drip-fed Chris' early videos to my friend group. It started with things like the video he made for Ivy, and her hermit crabs, if I recall correctly. Then I upgraded them to "Chris Chan with no context" videos, or "Perfectly cut Chris Chan" videos, letting them see more of Chris' antics.
They clearly found the videos humorous and so forth, but I thought that was the end of it... However, when we all met up for a week-long Christmas/New Years celebration, one of my friends put the GenoSamuel documentary on the TV, and we all sat together and watched it, at least once a day for the whole week (as entertainment for dinner). It was a brilliant experience, especially watching the reactions of my friends who hadn't looked into Chris. I do not regret introducing them, not one bit.

Introduced my other half to him and over time she started lurking on the farms, she mostly watches threads on deathfats these days, since she finds Chris comparatively boring to them.

I tried doing the same, but she was so creeped out about him that she couldn't stand more than a few videos and images. She does, however, have an advanced knowledge about Amberlynn Reid, so that's a thing we've bonded over.
I guess women really do gravitate towards female cows.
