I've tried reading this and if I got it right, this is about people who think they have disassociative identity disorder? It's bad enough already that DID is difficult to diagnose.

A few years ago, I played a visual novel that involved DID. It was about two people in separate locations that were able to switch minds with each other which causes a lot of problems with the people they're with. I sure as fuck hope that these people don't find and ruin it.

Oh man. Sorry to bump a topic that had fallen off the first page, but I used to vaguely know someone who did this headmates stuff, and seeing this brought up memories. Not in real life, we were just members of some tiny SJW-ish trainwreck of a community. (I had a phase, okay? ) Not the "system" in question, but sort of illustrates what those people are like.

I used to glance at her* blog, but I can't for the life of me find it now. It was about 110% angst and drama by volume. My favourite example: She went to some SJW party, was asked at the door which pronouns she likes best and responded to this with a thirty-minute explanation of how some of her headmates are male, some female, some trans-whatever and how one dislikes pronouns because they think the gender system should be opt-in. They shut the door on her. Can't remember if that actually was her or something she re-blogged, though. It's been a while.

Oh, and she referred to people without headmates as "singlets". Yeah.

(* I think she was a she. I could be mistaken. The "headmates", of course, spanned both genders and several age categories because of course they did.)

It's not in my bookmarks anymore, but I'll try digging through old chatlogs and such, maybe I mentioned it somewhere. It's a shame; there was an illustrated FAQ and everything. One thing that stuck in my mind was that she claimed to be afraid of going somewhere where she'd have to show photo ID because then people would refer to her by her birth name and thereby oppress the other system members. Yeah.

She didn't actually call it an SJW party, it was a "local queermeet" or something... but yeah. "SJW party" about sums it up. With their approach to gender identity, asking pronouns at the door is probably the only option left at this point.

that's actually sort of legitimately terrifying. if she's continued claiming all this stuff is true and is exposing her kid to it that child is going to come into the adult world severely fucked up in some major way.

After reading this I had to check to see if "transfat" (not trans fat) was actually a thing. Turns out, it is: "I am a transfat individual who prefers to wear cushions underneath my clothing to represent my phantom fat."

A'ight, I can't for the life of me find the blog I was talking about - sorry. But I found one from another person system I remember from back in the day. They're a lot more... earnest, I guess... than all the transfat tortoisekin Dremora headmates (seriously, what the fuck ), in that the "system" consists only of humans of varying genders and ages. (Two dudes in the system are gay married, the rest are blood-related somehow.) They have a webcomic! And the style changes depending on which alter is in charge! And the faux-six-year-old is horribly creepy!

So, there used to be a tumblr called Bullshit Incorporated that reblogged stupidity from otherkin, multiples, and other bloggers. It turns out that the blog was run by one person who used to be part of the multiple community posing as five people.

No fandom is truly safe such MLP:FiM being tainted with sperg and head-canon's or one cartoon series such as Avatar: The Last Airbender having shipping spergs who wanted their precious Zutara shipping to live. Really, when someone mentioned a Morrowind fan-fic whose author defied any lore that went against her head-canon, it pretty much shows that the TES fandom isn't safe if it has these sort of people (next thing you know, you get Ulfric Stormcloak x Thalmor Dragonborn slash that really messes with any lore.). As for having a child, one has to wonder what the child goes through with a parent who thinks a fictional race of demons is real. If Dremora are real, then I may as well eat cheese in the name of Sheogorath while getting blood for the blood god.
