Good news! It turns out that Heather is actually not on hiatus from the internet. As a matter of fact, ever since she posted that notice on her IG, she streamed on her MikaVTube channel twice. And I must say, for being "almost sent to a mental ward", she sounds pretty fine to me.

Aside from that, I have another major story that happened back in March. In Heather's server Dreamland, there are a couple of channels for members to talk about their kinning delusions. Heather particularly loves to spam these channels with pictures of her kins and nothing else. Between February and March, Heather's newest kin at the time was Futaba Sakura from Persona 5. I would agree that this is a slippery slope to somewhere. I feel like I notice this pattern in lolcow communities: Behavioral/social standards are so low by default that a person in their 20s who still acts like a teenager is commonplace, so not many people question friendships across age ranges because the maturity level is typically still the same (at least on the surface).

The post announcing successful orgasm is a good example of the reasoning a person uses when in the lolcow state of mind. The intention is apparently to examine and relieve past trauma by sharing a personal success story about overcoming those memories, but that intention isn't conveyed well in the choice to post it publicly online rather than telling close people in private (or on an NSFW account, at the least) and that intention is lost entirely when an uninformed observer worries about the connection between talk of sexual trauma, underage friends, porn, and the like.

My guess is that publicly sharing this event seemed liberating in a way that felt opposite to a 'trauma reaction'; oversharing puts you out in the open, and the knowledge that someone else knows what you experienced can be comforting, whereas thinking on traumatic events can close you off from the world and remind you of the bad sides of other people. Memories of trauma which have been repressed and have caused psychological distress ('I can't enjoy sex because of what happened') may feel less painful when some of that repression is made into release ('I'm changing how I look at those memories, it's time to share my story and progress') and the social element isn't considered beyond wanting someone to listen. I also think there's significance in a person already feeling violated by past events and then choosing a sort of self-violation via oversharing personal information with strangers (as if they think it's worth feeling violated this time, or maybe just don't realize how violating it may feel in hindsight one day).

And then the quintessential issue, which is that if anyone expresses distaste at what's being publicly shared, the mind isn't in a healthy enough state to separate the notion of people not wanting to see that from the assumption that people don't care what happened. Enter the victim complex, the enablers, etc. and the cycle will continue indefinitely until the person chooses to wake up and make changes.

I think the early 20s are often a person's final hours to realize the adult world's expectations before they lose a lot of others' sympathy/patience about mental illness and trauma, especially for anyone in these social circles where frienemies embroiled in drama can stir up future problems at a moment's notice.

On April 28th, she submitted her carrd on an IG account called bruhcarrd (more than once, in fact) in attempt to meet new friends and followers.

To my knowledge, it was only the Mikaela Hyakuya one that had a logger on it. She most likely was just looking out for specific ones from the people she was stalking and assumed the other IPs were from her followers, but I would still tread carefully. Whenever she makes a new carrd, I will post it with an archive already done so that you guys wouldn't have to worry.
