A lot of this stuff seems almost normal, but then I remember this person isn't 10 years old. I'm assuming the people in her friend group are also fully grown adults? Do they actually read each other's shitposts or is it just to feel like they're not screaming into a void when they post paragraphs simping for anime characters? I'm not very familiar with this whole kin fandom subculture.

Based on what I’ve seen of kinnie culture the people around her are likely just as batshit as she is. They will have to read and validate all the coomposts and schizoposting about fictional characters so that they in return can receive the same treatment.

Kinnies seem to exclusively surround themselves with other kinnies because no one else will enable their bullshit. The end result is an echo chamber of unrestrained mental illness, that causes whatever the fuck the shit shown in this thread is.

Weird kin communities can range in age but tend to be teenagers (anywhere from about 14 years old) to (wo)manchildren in their 20s. So it’s possible that the friends in this scenario are fully grown, deluded adults but they could also just as easily be misguided kids.

I’d say the entire phenomenon is sad but I haven’t laughed so hard in years Psychologists are going to have a field day dissecting all the weird subcultures and behaviour caused by modern social media.

Lost some good friends to this shit and I'll try to explain the best I can understand. As far as I understand, they do read each other's posts and either scream in agreement or secretly resent each other and it's just petty bitch fights over being mad about fictional characters because one decided they kin someone else now and the entire group devolves. Oh and just wanting to fuck anime characters that's the other half of it. They either are the characters and they get violently angry about people wanting to fuck them or they want to fuck them. I'm convinced it's some sort of advanced autism roleplay. I don't know this particular strain of person aside from what's posted here but from what I know this is extremely typical behavior like, they ALL act like this. Some more extreme, some less extreme. I remember one guy tried to gain the copyrights to a pokemon character in the community because he was kin to that character and couldn't handle anyone else enjoying that character and had full on autistic meltdowns with suicide threats sprinkled in if he came across another person who liked the character. So these people are deranged as fuck.

Something I wanted to note, is that most of these carrds (and the kinlist carrd) use a crd.co url and not the typical carrd.co, this can be accessed by using 'carrd pro' which can range from 9 dollars per year all the way to 49 dollars per year. Based solely on the descriptions on carrds website, I'm pretty sure she has the 49 dollar plan (due to one of the options saying you can 'password protect' carrds, which one of her carrds is), though carrd also lets you use free trials with no credit info but it's the 19 dollar version of carrd pro that you trial, not the 49 dollar one.

To my knowledge, it was only the Mikaela Hyakuya one that had a logger on it. She most likely was just looking out for specific ones from the people she was stalking and assumed the other IPs were from her followers, but I would still tread carefully. Whenever she makes a new carrd, I will post it with an archive already done so that you guys wouldn't have to worry.

I just took a closer look and some of the carrds you linked (meeka and menu) do have hidden statcounters. Not very well hidden though, you can literally just view page source > ctrl-f "statcounter" and you'll find the script, at the bottom of the code usually.

Disability is for disabled people and and severe mental illness is a disability. Two of the hall mark signs of severe mental illness are 1) the inability to differentiate between fantasy/delusions and reality and 2) the inability to realize or accept that you are mentally ill. Based on their online history, both, Usagi Kou and this crazy Heather chick are severely mentally ill and therefore disabled.

Also, they are definitely contributing to society as they are contributing heavily to our entertainment.

Firstly, I'd like to thank you all for the suggestions on the OP. I'm a bit late, but I just wanted to let you guys know that your contributions didn't go unnoticed!

But yeah, the fictionkin community is amongst one of my favorite communities to watch, but it's nearly impossible to observe due to how elusive it is. There are some public accounts, but like 97% of the community, especially insane cases like Heather, often keep their accounts private. When I first encountered Heather, she appeared as just another overzealous waifufag and didn't nearly act as fucking deranged as she does now. In fact, the Waifu Culture thread inspired me to take a look at some other servers that were similar to r/waifuism and that's how I happened upon Dreamland.

To confirm, Heather does surround herself with other adults who share her mindset ranging from the ages of 19-23; they make up the majority of her follower list. The youngest followers range from 15-17.

Oh man. A lot of major things happened this week.

First and foremost, she dropped her best friend (dorsalxrd/Negan) because she found out that they and their boyfriend were kinning the same characters behind her back. This was an issue last month, but I honestly wasn't expecting her to cut off one of the people who kissed her ass the most. I swear I almost lost my sides when I saw how quick she turned on them


In her server, she cries about how she constantly scratches/scars up her legs, "hallucinates" bugs crawling on her/people touching her, and blames her psychosis over it. She also bitches about people (possibly referring to Negan) who pretend to be delusional to be validated for their kins.

The next day, she happily announces that she's going camping with the family. Sebastian included, of course!

Luckily for us, Heather had a surprisingly good internet connection at the campsite, so she was able to keep us updated with how her trip was going in her server. There was plenty of delusional talk and her recounting memories that she's shared with Sebastian in the "other reality".

However, even the wellness of her own fucking family was put aside because in the middle of her episode, she began to complain about how much pain she was in from cleaning their RV while her dad got to sit back and take it easy.
