Okay, I've had this RPG idea kicking around my head for the past few days, and after seeing the two RPGs here I thought I'd throw it out here and see if people like it. I do understand if you guys really don't want another RPG thread, though, so I'm really sorry if you're sick of these things!
His City
An RPG by Laevateinn
Inspired by the “Don’t Zap to the Extreme!” role-play game
Scenario
The year is 2015. Most of the world has fallen to the wayside and only several government forces remain. The rest have fallen under the might of a city that, quite literally, came out of nowhere. They call this place CWCville, or “Quickvillie” to the many people who can’t pronounce its name properly. Nobody who lived past the first few weeks of havoc could ever figure out how this strange place came to be. Some say that it was something made by terrorists to conquer the world once and for all. Others claim that it was the work of an evil witch who wanted to destroy anything to do with love. But the one thing that all of those could agree on was the man running the city: a man who simply refers to himself as “The Mayor”. A man hell-bent on causing destruction and is known far and wide for his tyrannical nature. Of course, nobody will ever say that in CWCville, lest they get taken away for “adjustments”…
The city of CWCville has grown very large over the past decade, and that is partially thanks to the strange creatures that started roaming CWCville’s streets. They call these monstrosities: “Sonichus” – large, humanoid rodent/hedgehog chimeras with abilities which far surpass that of any man. These abominations are what gave The Mayor so much control over his citizens, having only to point a finger at someone to get his minions to slaughter whomever he decrees. Many lives have been lost at the hands of these creatures, and being unable to stop them, other empires were quick to hand over their people in exchange for freedom.
However, something has changed. Over the past year or so, the Sonichus have slowly begun to disappear. The Mayor himself doesn’t seem to care – he just carries on with his speeches, his “duties” and letting the people suffer. And that is where you come in – you are one of the citizens handed over to CWCville, trying to make the most of your current situation, whatever that might be. Being an average citizen is harsh – the nights are cold and food is hard to come by unless you happen to like Doritos and Mountain Dew (there is also Fanta, however most people generally avoid this drink due to its reputation with the Mayor).
You happen to be making your way back home when you come across something you weren’t expecting: one of the missing Sonichus. But something is different – they no longer look aggressive, nor do they seem to have any intent to destroy you. Your world is about to be turned upside down. By teaming up with the Sonichu who’s crossed your path you’re about to be thrown straight into the fray. Unravelling the story behind how CWCville came to be, the Mayor and, most importantly, how you, your Sonichu ally and any people you team up with can help end the madness of CWCville and bring a new age of peace.
· Only one Sonichu per person please. I’d like to see what different people do with the Sonichu they’ve chosen concerning character development.
· Sonichus/Rosechus don’t have to be restricted to the Chaotic Combo! There are plenty more you can choose from in the comics themselves, so if the main five are all taken that doesn’t mean you can’t sign up!
· There are two exceptions to the rule above. These two are the original Sonichu and Rosechu, which will be important to the plot later on.
· Sonichus/Rosechus, due to being separated from the Mayor for a prolonged set of time, are no longer the uber Gary-Stus/Mary Sues they once were. Bear this in mind if you’re going into combat.
· That being said, all Sonichus/Rosechus have one ability to start with, and will get more as the game progresses. What that ability happens to be is up to you; just make sure it isn’t god-tier.
· Maps will be drawn to show where your characters are in CWCville. This is to help add a bit more quality to the game, allows the players to use strategy and allows for a more enjoyable experience.
· Other important characters on the Sonichu comics such as Mary Lee Walsh/Slawheel Yram, Clyde Cash, etc. will be NPCs controlled by yours truly. These people will be the ones giving you advice, history of the city and might decide to join your quest to overthrow the Mayor.
· Combat will be based around die rolls, very much akin to the other games going on at the moment. Odd numbers means that you’ve managed to hit an enemy, even is a miss. How much you hit for will be dependent on a number given by a second die, this one a d20.
· Have fun!
(If anybody has any suggestions for rules and such, please say so! The better I can make this game for you all, the better!)

Human OC
Name: Emily Walker
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Original Residence before Being Taken: England
Original Occupation: Student
Appearance: Emily is quite short and broad, very much like the dwarven race in the Lord of the Rings books. She wears a torn, grey t-shirt and black jeans that are muddy and frayed at the fronds. She also carries around a small, green rucksack which holds several items of importance. She has short, unkempt, red hair, brown eyes and Caucasian skin, as well as several scars across her arms from rummaging through trash heaps to find things to eat. Emily also has a pair of grey flip-flops that are completely caked in dirt and mud.
Personality: At a glance Emily is quiet and timid, but this is simply because she’s learnt that it’s best to keep to oneself in CWCville. She’s quick-witted and smart, but does try to keep what little of her inner child remains alive. She’s also quite gentle to those who befriend her, and she generally tries to be a good friend if she can in return for kindness. Emily can also be quite rash and hasty in her judgements, particularly to do with people (especially the Mayor). And she doesn’t like to be told how to do something she knows how to do, often believing that people who tell her these things assume that she’s dumb.
History: Emily had a relatively quiet and enjoyable life before the invasion. She was hard at work studying to become a writer when CWCville reared its ugly head. Emily lived in England, which was one of the last countries to fall to CWCville. Once it did, she and many other women were shepherded to Richmond so that they could be “reformed” for the Mayor’s new empire. Though she did pass through reformation completely intact she wasn’t considered fit for the Mayor’s tastes, and so was sent to the slums of CWCville to fend for herself.
Other: Emily actually dislikes Mountain Dew, but she drinks it because it's better than drinking the stagnant water from the slums.
Inventory:
A bottle of Mountain Dew
A fruit knife
A picture of Emily’s parents
A patchwork blanket
Chosen Sonichu
Name: Magi-Chan Sonichu
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Original Purpose: Magi-Chan was created by the Mayor for sheer convenience. Being used to communicate with other individuals, teleportation and being one gigantic deus ex machina. He was also used to find homosexual activity in the city with his senses and keep CWCville proud and straight.
Appearance: Magi-Chan has seen better days. His purple fur has become quite dull and his indigo vest has seen quite a bit of wear and tear since he started wandering the streets. Magi-Chan has piercing yellow eyes, and this is perhaps the only thing about his appearance that hasn’t changed at all. His white shoes have several holes in them and there are several chunks of flesh missing from the tips of his ears due to the various scrapes he’s gotten in over the years.
Original Personality: Magi-Chan was pretty much one of the Mayor’s most loyal henchman. Though he was not the most loved, he was completely dedicated to whatever task the Mayor gave him. He would show no mercy to his foes and would use any method he could to win thanks to his intellect. He also generally stayed away from others, due to believing that being around other life forms would distract him from his orders.
Reformed Personality: After the Mayor stopped contacting his slaves Magi-Chan began to come to terms with what he had been ordered to do. After realising that finding a “cure” for the “gay virus” was made possible partially thanks to him, Magi-Chan was overcome with guilt. He’s become a little bit less reserved since the process began, too, and the thing he wants the most is to right the wrongs he’s committed and start over.
Starting Ability:
Teleport – Allows Magi-Chan to teleport small distances. However, this ability drains his stamina greatly and he can only teleport a couple of times before exhaustion takes over.
