I think it goes even further than that.

See, when people have a psychological condition that is interfering with their day to day life, they go to a doctor in an effort to fix the problem. It doesn't always mean to cure their condition, but at least learn to cope with it better.

Unfortunately for Phil, he thinks any treatment for his autism is ableism because it doesn't celebrate it. And because he refuses to even acknowledge that autism is a problem, he won't try to treat it.

As a result, he's unable to make any kind of significant relationship with anyone. He continues to get kicked out of Long Haul, he continues to alienate friends who want to help him like Skarlette Krow, Jordan Gwendolyn Davis and Tweaker the Cat.

I guess it comes down to the difference between clinical autism and Tumblr autism; on Tumblr, autism is just something "special" people have and it doesn't really interfere with your day to day life at all. Real, clinical autism can really interfere with you day to day life. And the problem is, Phil has real, clinical autism but he likes to pretend he has Tumblr autism.

If that's the case, he's even stupider than we thought. I mean, does anyone remember those letters Phil keeps asking for? The ones for his surgery? That is literally what they are: a professional diagnoses. So, either he has a professional diagnoses that he's trans (doubtful) or, once again, he's full of shit when he says he has a letter of recomendation.

He's lying either way, unless he really is getting that doctor to approve his ball chop for something unrelated to being trans. So there's the third option. Phil is telling the truth about being tucute AND approved by a doctor for nut removal. That means Phil has a not psychological, but physiological problem that warrants ball removal, the most common being testicular cancer.

THAT MEANS, Phil is caught in a lie he cannot bullshit his way out of, or he has testicular cancer.

It's tumblrspeak for "my brain's wired differently" or "I have a disorder", because tumblr absolutely loves taking the technical jargon of actual academic and scientific fields of study out of context; the more vaguely scientifically technical sounding and more able to be broadly applied it is, the better.
People who actually have neurological disorders (see below) spend a lot of time and effort either fixing their shit or learning to live, be productive, and/or excel with said disorders.
