Hollow Knight - Dark Souls Metroidvania... with bugs!

So, Hollow Knight... I've been playing this for the last couple of months now. It's a fun game but I'm not gonna lie there are some obnoxious moments with some of the bosses (I'm looking at you, Watcher Knights) and a whole bunch of free DLC has recently came out. I have this on PC but I plan to purchase on Switch. It runs decently for me but I had to adjust some settings beforehand for my PC at least.

I managed to fully upgrade my nail and put the nailsmith out of his misery. I managed to break the last seal, too. I'm thinking for going to the Black Egg temple though I hear there are multiple endings to this game.

The Watcher Knights have exactly three moves:

Roll forward
Bounce
Slash

They might feel a bit chaotic and intimidating the first few times you fight them, but they turn into absolute kittens over time when you get used to the tells they give, just like most of the bosses. You'll truly be pulling some hairs later on the actually hard stuff.

Without going spoilers I will confirm multiple endings simple to say that 1 of them can be missed (per save file). If you go to the Temple now you will get the miss-able one then can continue on afterwards.

Watcher Knights gave me no end of troubles too even though I had already beaten much harder bosses before encountering them.

Hollow Knight is a shit Metroidvania. The fact that it is playable at all is a testament to how strong that genre is. The controls are a tad bit wonky, the map lay out is fucking awful. I shouldn't have to spend 10 minutes of platforming every time I need retry a boss fight, and it's shit game play to give me a sign telling me there is a save point, and it's a fucking boss. I can see Castlevania and Metroids sack hairs on your chin, they figured this shit out long ago, so rip them off better.

Big fan of the game on my end. You kinda fucked up one thing with the Nailsmith but it isn't really any big plot or gameplay content.
