All of the "manosphere" game crap is pretty redundant, if anyone wants to understand how to apply strategic thinking to social situations there are plenty of books by actual military strategists such as Sun Tzu which do a much better job. And if anyone's interested in evolutionary psychology, there's a book called "The Moral Animal" which sums up the theories nicely.

The "PUA" stuff is all just a dumbed-down, impractical version of stuff written by much better authors.

Yeah, I actually am willing to say a few positive things about the manosphere; on the lighter note some of it could be slightly helpful for young guys who were raised without a father and never had anyone tell them to man up, and as a counter-balance to all of the silly mixed messages about masculinity in the media, especially in a day and age where people want men in dresses allowed into the girls' locker room.

Unfortunately most of the manosphere and PUA advice takes a few grains of truth, then exaggerates them and creates a bunch of ridiculous "systems" designed to sell books and products, half of which are so pedantic and over-complicated that the whole thing ends up being more like a live-action role playing game where insecure guys pretend to be these "cool sophisticated playboys".

I have a feeling there's a high rate of asperger syndrome in the PUA community; the way they talk about stuff like "practicing my negs" or "doing 10 sets of approaching women"; to the point it sounds more like guys talking about playing an MMMORPG.
