Hope the devs figure out how to implement massive, game changing mechanics this time around, like sleeping to change the time of day or the ability to zoom the camera out so you can see more then Aloy’s back for 90% game...

The world looks beautiful

She looks fucking fugly

I hope they include a baber shop so i can change her hair and have her look normal.
A barbershop where she’ll throw a bow and arrow at you for messing up her dreadlocks and redhead?

I’ll pass on that. Instead, I’ll just play The Witcher 3 again.

There's nothing wrong with being a red head, even though you lack a soul.

The MANJAW though needs a belt sander taken to it to file it down.

I hope they add more control to when you can take over machines. Like attack that enemy, defend me, ect.. First game was just attack.

It seems the game will be more like Uncharted with multiple unique locations rather than a Far Cry-esque sandbox. The question is whether those locations will be linear levels, small sandbox locations a la' Deus Ex, or just traveled to through a hub world.
As for the story, the last game was obnoxiously Social Justice, so I won't get my hopes up. Though I hope to be wrong since the gameplay and exploration were nice despite the very lazy world design, which consists of haphazardly stapling futuristic mechanical parts on Indian designs and calling it a job.
Also the main character is butt ugly, this is what video gaming has devolved into, female characters look worse than the PS2 ere.

It's the same as the first game, the main world is going to be open but the dungeons will be linear. There's no real major gameplay changes outside of probably not allowing you to access the endgame equipment right off the bat.

I think the Underwater parts will be linear too, I can't see them spending all that time on underwater combat because people hate that shit for complex bosses. Monster Hunter 3U proved that.

The biomes in the game are too different though to be a single location (especially if the mc will go to Japan). Though it might be handwaved as ecological damage or some shit.

They may not be a single seamless location but that still counts as open world.

Witcher 3 has 2-3 main areas with some smaller ones and it's still an open world game.

Actually the whole dragon bit makes me think that she's in some type of Chinatown area, it might be part of the west coast because you also have the kelp forest. Then again the game had shit from colorado be in close proximity to shit in other states.

I will say her hair is pretty fun despite it being dreads.

Ashly Burch won me over with the role. I'm glad people like Laura Bailey, Kira Buckland, and Cristina Vee didn't get it.

It's probably Hawaii or some other tropical island, going by the vegetation.
Yeah but you could break a cinder block over her abs.

It got really distracting just how much skin they were trying to cover. The armor choices were almost all bad outside of 1 or 2 from an aesthetic sense.
Well, it doesn't really help that most of the armor sets were modeled the same way.

I personally can't stand her performance in it. she sounds like the VO director only gave her one word to describe how she should sound and it was "determined". Every line just sounds so forced to me, like her only personality is being "determined".
