I want to know more about it because it is the driving force behind the massive amount of paranoia some people have when it comes to covid-19. but I do not understand how someone with no symptoms would spread the virus since something like sneezing would count as a symptom right?

The WHO already released findings that the asymptomatic spread is much much less than anticipated.

I believe a lot of pathogens can be infectious even before initial symptoms show up. Just because you aren't showing symptoms yet, doesn't mean that the pathogen isn't replicating and can't be transmitted from an exit of your body to someone else, by touching it for example. Also symptoms are often caused by your immune system fighting the infection.
