My highest hour count is ~2k hours on Killing Floor on steam.
But I'm pretty sure I spent twice this amount playing pokemon for non-steam games.

490 hours in Red Orchestra 2 / Rising Storm. 99 is the max level, and I got to 90 in RO2 and somewhere in the mid 50s for RS.

I think there might have been some F2P games I used to play that technically had higher overall hour counts, but the greater portion of those hours were spent alt-tabbed while waiting in matchmaking queues.

That's nothing, it's only failure when you get beaten in a civil war by your little sister for the Byzantine throne and watch as all the expansions you made all by yourself goes to waste in another civil war that broke up the entirely of the Byzantine Empire.... I was trying to get the Roman Empire back to get the achievement. : (

Edit: managing to be Idolized by both NCR and Legion, plus having more or less good reputation with all the factions makes me something of a skilled diplomat and politician, so I'm not a failure.

I had the kingdoms of Bavaria and France as the Annionas, but I managed to lose France to some cousin I had no idea even existed in a war, so I gave up that game
