You know, CWCville actually made more sense than this, especially the homo vaccine.

Slightly asymmetrical proportions, lots of thin lines adding hyperdetail, if there's color saturate the hell out of it, if the colors are dull make it black and white. Shading is your friend.
Also, sharp angles help, and chaotic linework so everything looks thorny and jagged.
