how do people get banned here?

  • The site is having difficulties because our bandwidth is totally overextended. Our 1Gbps line is at 100% even when there aren't 8000 people on the site. We were supposed to get a second Gbps line months ago but I'm struggling to get technicians scheduled to set it up.

There's a lot of ways to get your ass pegged good so it make sure you'll get back after the process because you'll need this validation from ones you've been pegged by.

Just off the top of my head from what I've seen thus far:
Isabella Janke got banned for making sock accounts to do gayops on kiwifarms
Tagging Null over dumb shit
Being a open pedophile

If you don't get banned you can still get slapped with the janny stick in other ways like being thread banned. I think some guy was thirsting over a vtuber and got thread banned from the virtual youtuber thread for being too horny for example.

There's also occasional rules that may appear under certain sections / threads. Breaking them might get you the janny stick.

Idk how it is anymore, but they used to hand out bans for thirstposting in the lolcow salon constantly. There were times where you'd see one warning/ban for every two pages, sometimes even on positively rated posts. Possibly because the board caters to individuals who need constant explicit reassurance that they're definitely better and less gross than whatever embarassing landwhale they're gawking at or reality threatens set in, so jokes and sarcasm aren't allowed.
