How do you listen to YouTube while also, being online? -

Hello. I want to listen to music on YouTube. While also being online. On my phone. Every time I start up YouTube and start listening to a song on it, and then try to look at something online, the god damn song on YouTube stops playing when I leave YouTube to go look at something online. It’s only playing the song when I’m actually on YouTube. How do I fix this error and listen to YouTube while also viewing forums or anything online?

It's not a bug,it's a fucking feature! Jewtube locked background playing to their shitty premium.
Use a alternate Youtube client,it's better anyways.

If you have an Android phone utilize the split screen feature (just google it for the how-to). If you use an iphone you're shit outta luck.

Use an internet browser (I recommend Brave, but others are available) to play the video. I don't know about IPhone, but on android I can minimize the browser and still hear the video/music.

You need to make the video tiny so you can drag it around your screen. When the video is tiny it can slip past the government identi-blockers and secondary applications can be run while the music is playing.

If you use an Android, install YouTube Vanced. If you use an iPhone, jailbreak it and get the Cercube tweak for YouTube.

Unfortunately this doesn't fully work anymore. There are certain "song videos" (or whatever) in my playlists that will allow mini-player and split screen playing but 99% of them don't. YouTube stopped this so people will buy YouTube music.

Which is why you install YouTube Vanced on your phone, it gets over this restriction.

youtube-dl or 4K Video Downloader, dude. you can just set it to save the MP3 without the video

Brave has a setting that allows you to keep sound from a background tab going. This works with YouTube if you go through Brave instead of the YouTube app.
