I usually say it L-O-L Cow given LOL being an abbreviation, but if we're compound in face-to-face discussion I address lolcow as "LAWLcow".

LAWL-Son is also what I referred to Chris from a simpler time ago.

Nah, I pronounce it that way, too, and I've never even been to New York.

I guess it depends on how your read the abbreviation "lol" in your head, if you read it like "l-o-l" letter by letter, or if you read it phonetically like "lawl" or "lowl".
