We all know she spends a lot of money. This post isn’t really about her finances, it is about how much money Amber spends to gain the weight she has been able to in the last 5 years.

How much do you think Amber spends per week/month on food to amass to the size she is?

How much do you think she spends on clothes monthly to accommodate her growing size?

How expensive overall do you think it is to maintain the eating and shopping habits of someone at or around 600 pounds?

I haven't done the :autism:math, and I haven't seen a reliable accounting of what they are actually consuming to :autism:ly track and add up, but if we take as a baseline 1 restaurant visit for two and 1 fast-food run for two per day + a planned "binge" on a Family-size bag of chips, a 500g Dove chocolate bar, and lots of diet soda/bottled water/assorted zero calorie drinks it's likely that to feed Haramber and Thumbelina cost on average between $50 and $100 dollars per day.

This would mean that to feed just the two of them costs between $1,500 to $3,000 per month, or $18,000 to $36,000 per year

I was just going for a rough ballpark estimate but apparently Necky is on record stating they routinely spend $200 a day on food + Wommart garbage.

I can't remember which vlog it was, only that it was this year, but NoNecky said they spend $200 a day on garbage food and garbage in general, then made some noises about how that makes her "uncomfortable."

With the estimated $200 per day, the total ends up being $72,800 per year on food + Walmart garbage (it’s probably too low, as sometimes Al says they can spend around 400 dollars at times. Not to mention her many Torrid hauls)

I'm going to estimate around $1500-2000 solely on food per month. That goes for only AL. And then an extra 1k on miscellaneous junk from walmart and torrid.

An average single person can easily live comfortably on $90 - $200 depending on how much they go out to eat/ how fancy their ingredients are. And that's assuming that they only went out to eat 1x per day. (A coffee or a donut etc...) It's not normal, however, to go to restaurants 3x-4x in a single DAY.

It would take 5715 tins for the approximate 450 lbs she is overweight. At at 40p a tin it would cost £2,286 or $2885.13 to gain the weight over a course of 450 days so £5.08 or $6.41 a day (not adjusted for shifts in BMR or extra exercise)

Which, unfortunately, is complicated by the fact that those 428 kcals cost about four times as much on her end because everything she consumes is from a restaurant, not made at home on the cheap.

20-30 grand on eating out alone, but they spend like 200-400 at Walmart a day.. Don’t forget you must include Becky because she is unemployed. A ball park estimate, over the course of a year, they must be spending $50-80,000 on junk, and food.

At approximately 860 pounds between the two of them, they weigh about the same as eight adult women (petite ones, but still...we could also say they weigh as much as 7 average women of their height) Their long-suffering farty Hyundai has a weight capacity of 849 pounds (passengers and cargo combined), so it is safe to say that they are too fucking fat, if I may wear my Captain Obvious cape for a moment.

A typical woman does not eat restaurant food every day of the week, multiple times a day. That shit adds up.

They don't go to expensive places, and Amberlynn doesn't order alcohol (which is pricey), but Becky does. Cheesecake Factory is the most expensive place they go. I would estimate the bill for the two of them, tip included, to be around $50. The Mexican buffet can probably feed them for $35 or so. Taco Bell isn't especially cheap fast food, especially when you order tacos by the dozen, but I will be conservative and estimate that at $30 for the two of them. That is an average of $38.33 per restaurant meal.

If we assume a meal per day at a restaurant (some days they don't go at all, some days they go twice), it adds up to $1149.90 per month.

That is only a base number though. I did not include the many Burger King and McDonald's snacks. Let's put a conservative $10 each for those, and be conservative by saying that only happens 15 out of 30 days in a month.

That brings us to $1299.90 per month.

Then, we must consider the Peanut Butter Cup expenses. Let's say $3 a day for candy. Now we are at $1389.90 per month.

Of course, they also keep a fridge that is literally bursting at the seams with junk. I'm gonna just guess $100 a week for that, which is probably very conservative. There are 4.3 weeks in a typical month, so we'll call that $430.

So now we are at $1819.90 per month.

Let's add another 10 Starbucks each per month at $4 a pop. That's another $80. We are at $1899.90 a month.

I am going to omit whatever she spends on the boys, although she probably pays for their food too when they go out. We'll pretend they split the tab boys/girls.

Since I was so conservative in my estimates, I will round up that monthly food bill to about $2000 a month. That is more than most people pay on their mortgages... That's $24,000 a year, which is about Rickie's salary at the slaughterhouse.

I won't bother figuring out their clothing bills, but it probably exceeds the food bills.

The funny thing is that the cheapest foods are the ones with the most carbs and the least actual nutritional value, so it's much easy to get super fat cheap than you would think it should be, which kind of explains the obesity among the poor in America.
