So my wife was listening to the new Tailor Swift album the other day and I happened to catch some of it.

A bunch of the songs are still about her being a teenager and getting her heart broken in high school.

She’s like 31 at this point. How much longer can she sing about that shit before it starts to get creepy/pathetic?

I think you're selling her lyrical prowess more than a little short. She's really matured both musically and thematically with Folklore. For example, on The Last Great American Dynasty, arguably the album's standout cut, she traces the epic life story of Rebekah Harkness, an influential philanthropist and early feminist icon, in a way that recalls Led Zeppelin at the pinnacle of its narrative songwriting craft, combined with the melodic sensibilities of Pet Sounds-circa Brian Wilson.
