How much does Barb restrict Chris' social interactions? -

I was just thinking back to the Ohio trip, and remember the big freak out that Barb and Bob had over it.

Also, how he said he couldn't go anywhere because his parents were too paranoid for his safety.

It got me to thinking what is the line between what he does, and how much his mother limits him

I can't remember where, but somebody said she'll leave messages that sound like she's in bodily pain from his absence. Truly a horrifying thing when put in prospective. It's like she feeds off of his aura or something.

Given how many places he's managed to get banned from even post-clampdown, it could go either way. In the "plus" column, keeping Chris on a leash probably is postponing the inevitable jerkop-tastrophe that will land him behind bars. In the "minus" column, the mind-warping isolation that's resulted could make things ten times worse once he finally breaks loose one way or another.

I imagine Borb probably thought they were doing the right thing to keep Chris out of the trouble he wasn't sensible enough to avoid himself.

Honestly, as lonely as he probably is, his lack of online activity probably comes more from Barb than himself. She probably yells at him every time he's on the computer, and the only reason he is online at all is to Google himself and see if anybody's still talking about him. I think Chris misses his trolls.

Bell did make a speech about turning Chris around and getting him on the right track, so, naturally, a lack of evidence to the contrary means he's doing a good job so far.

I doubt it. Bell is a lawyer, not probation officer. He has more important things to do than babysit Chris. Rocky probably doesn't see Chris outside of counseling, so maybe she tells him what to do, but doesn't really babysit or keep tabs on him.

Nope, it's all his personal things. Even his friggin Iphone, which he uses mainly for checking on us.

I imagine it is a pain to clean up crap after two dogs in that house (Not the piss though. I imagine Chris just sprays something to kind of cover the smell). What Chris doesn't understand is that if he had just taken a few months to housebreak those dogs when they first got them all he'd have to do is give them food, water, and attention (which I imagine Chris would love because he'd have two creatures that would show TRUE and HONEST loving feelings and emotions towards him). Then again it'd probably take longer to housebreak any animal in that maze of junk since they'd be able to do guerilla-style shit-and-runs.

Bell's interactions with Chris were limited to his legal services.

I suspect cutting down the internet in the house - probably as a cost saving measure, moreso than a means to suppress Chris - was the biggest factor. It seems reasonable that if the internet is less accessible, he uses it less.
