Free speech is a nice concept, but letting people say whatever they want can cause trouble. Absolute free speech would let pedophiles openly share guides on how to kidnap newborns and it would allow people to legally yell THERE'S A FIRE in a crowded theater even if there is no fire. So what should the limit be, in your opinion?

For example, when someone says you're a pedophile and they make false accusations which get picked up by the media and law enforcement, that shit shouldn't fall under free speech and should be heavily penalized.
I would go with the false accuser getting the same sentence as the accused would if the accusation was true.

You should be able to exercise whatever rights you want until you start to infringe on the rights of others.
As much as I agree with this, people use that argument to say that mean words disempower others or promote ideas that make it so minorities are at a disadvantage in the US.

Okay but "disempowering" someone isn't infringing on their rights. Reporting a false crime to get someone locked up is a crime because you use your words to directly impede someone else's freedoms. You do not have a right to not have your feelings hurt.

I’m not arguing that it is, what I’m saying is that some people see it as that and use that to justify censorship.

Anything outside of things like yelling fire in a crowded theater, direct credible and serious threats, or speech that's directly and provably (beyond a reasonable doubt) involved in the commission of a non-speech related crime (like planning a murder/robbery) should be allowed.
