How much interaction has Chris had with Bob's other kids? -

I ask this because I decided to look at the CWCki today and read about other family members after seeing the recent discussions about the effects Chris' internet fame may have had on other members of the family. We know that Chris was not a honeymoon baby (or the reason his parents even got married) since his parents married in the middle of 1980.

I'm especially curious about Carol. According to the CWCki, her birthday is 07-07-1969 which would make her about 10 when Bob married Barb, and 12 when Chris was born. David was 19, and Cole was also 19. I wonder if Carol was ever around during Chris' younger years. It's clear she was living with her mother at this time, but did Bob ever have joint custody with his ex-wife over Carol? I have a few younger half-brothers, and even though I didn't live with my dad all the time, I still got to see my brothers often enough, and always went to their birthday parties and what have you.

I suppose this thread could also discuss how Barb got along with her stepchildren. Do we have any record of how Barb got along with David and Carol? I would imagine that for Carol it would be harder since she was fairly young when her parents got divorced, her dad married another woman, and she gained a younger half-brother.

As for Carol I don't think Bob saw much of her after he and her mom split.
I think Borb were the kinda people that isolate themselves from the rest of their family. Chris didn't know he had a niece until she was 8.

I realize that, but I can't help but feel a little sad about the situation. it seemed unfair to Carol that Barb basically took Bob away, I would surmise that is why she had nothing to do with Chris when she was older.

Apparently Bob took Chris to get for an eye check up with David Chandler. I think that is the only confirmed encounter.

I always got the impression that Bob's other children wanted nothing to do with him, or with Barb or Chris. I always wondered if that was because Bob wasn't really around for much of their childhoods, since his wonderful snowflake deserved more of his attention.

Considering Carol probably didn't even go to Bob's funeral, on top of the fact that nobody knew Savannah existed until she was eight years old, I'd say that the relationship with the other Chandler siblings is, at absolute BEST, strained and distant. Speculation can run wild as to why--that Bob was actually a horrible abusive asscheese, that Barb isolated him completely from the family, that the children blamed Bob and/or Barb for their parent's divorce--but ultimately, unless someone manages to ask the other Chandler siblings personally, we probably won't know.

I think so too, that's where Chris learned about his niece. I'm also pretty sure it's where Bob learned Savvy too.

If that had been played correctly, we would have shortly seen Chris come on to "Savannah".

Probably none. Obviously Bob had mentioned them beforehand since Chris knows he has half-siblings, hell maybe they even all met at some point, but I doubt Chris ever got to know them or have any relationship with them.
I sort of have the feelings that Bob's kids dropped out of his life and never really bothered to stay in touch aside from Dr. Chandler seeing Chris about his eyes.

That was honestly one of the creepiest message exchanges in all of documented Christory. Either he is so socially retarded that he honestly has no idea how to differentiate between the ways he's supposed to address young family members, friends, and potential romantic partners... or he was legitimately heading straight into Creepy Pedo Uncle territory, because those messages sound an awful lot like when he was messaging sweethearts before he started actively hitting on them and professing love.

Well, the uncle-niece relationship was very close to boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. The girlfriend is supposed to be cute and young from his perspective either way, so ultimately, he's going to use the same voice and expressions.

Chris has no frame of reference for what an uncle is supposed to be like. Couple that with his bizarre idea that women like being talked to as if they are infants and you get what happened in the Savannah conversation.

I didn't know that Carol was that young when Bob married Blob. That's really sad.
