How often does Chris speak? -

I just thought of something interesting.

We all know Chris doesn't socialize, but does he even talk anymore? Because, while watching his old videos (where the trolls were the only ones listening ) he sounds so unpleasant.

Other than that, I imagine that he doesn't talk too much when he's out by himself. This is a guy who thinks that sitting beside a sign is going to get people to talk to him.

There is a difference between just saying words like giving a food order and having an intelligence conversation with another person. Barb probably spends her days sleeping and is not much for deep conversations besides telling Chrissy what to do.

In short, he is not having real conversations and socializations at all

He had that lengthy post from the March leak about Barb agreeing they're both the same personality type who don't care about societies' expectations on them so I'm sure the psyche manipulation by his mom is the most intricate conversation with another human being he can expect on an average given day presently.

But they're also a family grieving the loss of their husband and father so you can't really begrudge either of them engaging each other in that I think.

Realistically (not counting convos with Barb), only replying to Kroger, Food Lion and Wal-Mart checkers when they ask him "Will it be paper or plastic today?" at the checkouts, Goodwill and Salvation Army checkers when they ask "Do you want your receipt today?", ordering food at McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, El Agave, Vinny's Pizza, Rylie's Diner and other fine dining establishments in Ruckersville, to his PO and possibly to Kim Wilson and Dana Mehari on the phone.

Huh, I was under the impression that he talked to Anna on the phone more often than that. Well, that just speaks volumes about Chris's self-imposed solitude, then.

Yeah, I don't know why, but it just clicked how isolated Chris is from the world. He spends all day with and only goes out to get q-sands and do other errands for her. It's not exactly "self-imposed" because Barb keeps him on a short leash, either to keep him out of trouble or, as others have said, because he's now part of the hoard.

Sure, he'd have a meager social life and probably get banned from places, but he still has an extremely bleak life. If he did get to go out a few times a week he'd probably be a bit more emotionally stable, and at least have something to look forward to.

Does anyone know why Chris had a baritone voice in high school and now has a high voice? I know that people who are isolated and don't talk to people soon speak unintelligibly, so I don't know if something similar happened to OPL.

The sad part, I honestly can't see him socializing much more if Barb were around. Yeah he wouldn't be kept in all the time but it's not like he'd instantly become a social butterfly. If nothing else he has proven that he is a pussy when it comes to confrontation and socializing. While better I can easily see him head in his PSVita at a bar casually sipping a Bud with a packet of sugar. Just as miserable as before.

Like I said, he'd have a meager social life, but it would be a bit better if let him go out more.

This. Just being able to be around non- people regularly would be a big improvement on his social life. Recently, I was talking to a friend of mine, and he goes to Magic the Gathering tournaments (or some bullshit, I don't remember the specific game). From what he was telling me, Chris would be very middle of the road as far as asocial tards go.

Yet they both still expect society to accept and accommodate them? It's amazing that as time goes on we see more and more of Barb imprinted in Chris.
