2) She made the false claim on Twitter that Teodoro "Teddy Boy" López Locsin Jr (Philippines foreign Minister) invited her to dinner. He only retweeted one of her reports from the Philippines
and said he would be visiting Canada soon.

3) Ezra levant said in a video and Tweets when she was hired that he would send her to the UK a test to see how well she does. She was an unpaid intern working behind the scenes before that.
Ezra has been advertising for people for the last year. Rebel employs over 20 people right now.

4) Her videos get the lowest views on Youtube compared to Menzies, Sheila, Keean and Ezra.

5) Keean has no problems getting people to talk to him, she struggles to get enough people on the street to make a 2 minute video. Her last one at a Liberal fundraiser was mostly people rejecting to speak to her.

I’ll admit I’m disappointed in this thread. What I thought was that I’d be reading a helpful guide for the JY victims to reference.

Yaniv keeps doing the same stuff to new people. What would be helpful is a pinned thread so his next victim, because there will be a next victim, can be pointed to a thread with a guide on how to remain safe. Because whether you’re a band, a group of teens, a pageant contestant, or a [fill in the blank], Yaniv knows that carrying messages of body positivity, the LGBTQ2 voice, and loving inclusion is going to keep reaching new audiences. We can’t believe someone is gullible and has never heard of him, but Yaniv is only known to us because at some point he fell on our radar and we did some research. His victims don’t have the luxury of time and research. They’re busy befriending someone who is a pro at stalking.

We should write something to let them know the stages of Yaniv’s obsession, how at risk they are, and how to protect themselves.

Think of the pageant girl who played nice because she was terrified he’d roll in with a taser. If she could have shown up at the rcmp headquarters with more than, “Help. A tranny in a slipping purple strapless ball gown and tiara wants to be my pageant bestie,” she might not have been left to hope some scolding tweets would keep him away from the teen contestants.

I agree with the present media coverage. Outside of Menzies suggesting that Jon was molested as a kid, his questions were in-line with what I've seen 20/20 and 48 hours do. It is routine, too, for journos to stake out people's houses when people or even their families are thrust into the public limelight and/or achieve that themselves. Jon has identified himself as a "high-profile figure" and "changemaker" for years now, and he finally is. Journos don't care whether he is in the news the way he preferred, they care that he is now in the news.

Without powerleveling too much, it's also routine for subjects to try to grab journos' notebooks and devices. It can happen in a regular grocery store when you're just there to get election quotes for a mainstream daily, to say nothing of those out rolling at Ferguson or in Liberia during Ebola. Most mainstream journos will cut or not mention subjects getting handsy since the journos ideally supposed to be chroniclers, observers, and not directly involved. Sometimes it can't be helped that the journos are included, however.

Menzies chronicled that My/JY was willing to chase him down at least half a city block, then beat him about the head five times while he basically just stood there--rather than do what most subjects accused of far worse do. "No comment, no comment" then going into their condo and waiting for the cops instead of re-engaging physically. Beating someone about the head five times is beyond getting handsy on a reporter's notebook or equipment. If this had been a 110-pound 5'3" female, she would have risked more serious injury from a 5'11" 280-pound individual raining blows down on her with eight inches of gravitational force assisting.

The law is however supposed to treat them the same. This was repeated assault with a deadly weapon as he could have killed someone with it.
