How to download private videos from FB -

I'm trying to download some FB live videos so I can reupload them here for y'all's viewing pleasure in a thread I am making about someone, but I'm a dumb cunt who doesn't know how to do anything beyond basic tech stuff. I've tried using several video downloading sites to no avail because the videos are private. Can anyone offer any suggestions of how I can download the videos?

I don't have an FB so I can't test it, but I use browser extensions like Video Downloader to grab videos. One of those may work for private FB videos.

youtube-dl may be the tool, don't use Facebook so I can't test but it works on a lot of shit. It says they support Facebook, but I'm unsure about private content/how often their supported list is updated.

If you're really bad with tech it may require some googling to get it to work, but it's incredible once it's set up.

Don't forget to update it from the settings every now and then though, if you don't want to spend an hour trying to figure out why it's not working.

Thanks all. I just downloaded their windows.exe thing because I don't have python and don't know where to type in the code commands on the "download" page. Now I have a weird video player thing that I don't know how to work. I don't even know where it went because I quit it and can't find it in my applications. I'm that bad. I'm trying to download Python to see if I can work it that way.

I downloaded Python and typed the commands into the terminal, but I still don't know how that translates into the thing downloading the videos I want. I'm sorry I'm so bad at this, it's never something I had the interest or time to learn. I appreciate your help though!
