A friend of mine floated the idea that Chris is dabbling in gender fluidity as a way to either ensure he ends up in a woman's prison. This idea that he's doing it strictly for these purposes obviously doesn't hold up, but it's still interesting to think about what effect it might have on his prison stay.

My guess, as someone who doesn't know shit about this subject, is that his autism combined with his supposed status as transgendered would make him a nightmare for the prison system to deal with in general, particularly as far as keeping him safe goes. So if nothing else, he'll at least be sent to a very cushy prison, right?

Does he think he'll be sent to be sent to a woman's prison?
Will he have access to hormones on the inside?

Educate me on what happens to autistic transwomen in prison, friends.

There's not much to answer here.

Chris has not received the care of a psychologist, began hormone therapy, or applied to either the Virginia state board or the federal SSA for a legal application to change sex.

He will be placed in the men's prison. The rest of this debate is general Deep Thoughts board material.
