Frankly, Biden has kept his cards close to his chest when it comes to China and Taiwan. He believes that trying to tackle China through trade sanctions isn't what America should do and he has used an executive order to pause the sale of Tiktok's North American operations to Oracle. But, he has appointed a defense minister that openly talks of his agreement with Trump in dealing with China and wants a larger American presence in the South China Sea. My guess is that he'll try to contain China by surrounding it with aggressive states supported by the U.S.A, much like how Russia is handled. Since that's what Obama was planning to do and laid the foundation for in his last year of presidency with his "Pivot to East Asia"With regard to the future of Taiwan, under the intervention of the United States, China does not dare to carry out armed attacks at present. The trump government is also very close to Taiwan. However, the Biden government's policy towards Taiwan is not very certain at present. Therefore, whether China can recover Taiwan in the future depends on the Biden government。
So can someone tell me your views on Biden's policy towards Taiwan and Taiwan's future?![]()
