How has the news of the Suez blockage reached your area of China? I hear a lot of food is imported through that canal to the mainland.
Well, I didn't read the news. I found out about it after a search. As for the impact on China, it should not be much. Instead, people focus on the fact that the freighter is a Taiwan ship, and ridicule it。

Well, the North Koreans have an culture of worshipping the current patriarch of the Kim dynasty, Japan's emperor used to be seen as a descendant of the gods, Thailand's royal family is legally immune to public criticism (but this has an history of causing riots, so it doesn't count), and some Americans take politics a little too seriously.

Who's to say that Biden is immune, considering that this is from Trump winning back in 2016
Kneeling is also a traditional Chinese culture. Now, especially in Shandong and some places, there is the custom of kowtowing to elders during festivals. In addition, the video is very interesting wwww。

According to the L.A. Times the ship was registered in Panama and was managed by a Taiwanese firm, so I'm guessing that the crew might be originally from Panama.

After all, just because a company is based in one country doesn't mean that they can open a branch or two on another continent

I cant describe how much I hate your people. Dirty subhuman rats. It’s ok, the love of god burns at a hundred million degrees. Fucking stars don’t even burn this bright, and millions of you bugs are going to be nothing shadows in burned out husks of cities. One day, hopefully soon, we will be able to Clorox your stain out of the human genome and that will be it.

How do the Chinese view the West's economy? Over here there's lots of positive stories in the mainstream media but everyone I know privately and on forums things the dollar is going to have some bad times, soon. Is America still regarded as super-rich and successful in China or do people there also think it's in trouble?

2.On the face of it, our relationship with the government is relatively good。Among the people, many Vietnamese oppose China because of the war or other factors in history,On the other hand, the Chinese do not like them. They think that their culture is all plagiarized from China, and they are called Southeast Asian monkeys,However, many Chinese marry Vietnamese brides, and Vietnamese seem to like Chinese TV dramas more than other countries。
Hi! Vietnamese here, I can see why you see many Vietnamese oppose China because of the war or other factors in history but the Viets don't hate Chinese peoples. Just the chinese government who we have a problem with.

"On the other hand, the Chinese do not like them. They think that their culture is all plagiarized from China"

I disagree with this so much because the kick-starting the thousand years of chinese domination of vietnam from china's point of view the red river
delta was effectively a part of china proper during the thousand years period thus sinusization of non-chinese people in the red river delta region is
considered the norm as this is also what was considered a period of subjugation and happening throughout southern china from vietnam's point of view the thousand years of chinese presence is foreign domination.Anyway the incorporation of vietnam to china greatly exposed the Vietnamese
people to buddhism, chinese religions and philosophies, chinese government administration, chinese writing system and many other chinese stuff.
the chinese saw the vienamese people as uncivilized and backward barbarians who should be sinusized as soon as possible the viets people particularly the nobles who were able to maintain nominal independence under chinese overlords.

because there were countless vietnamese revolts eventually vietnam managed to regainits independence by beating up thechinese ming dynasty to solidified vietnam's national identity and that the red river delta region is definitely an irreversibly vietnamese not a part of china proper to guarantee our independence by acted as a tributary state to
the chinese ming dynasty and later the qing dynasty throughout
its existence and adopted chinese characters added some vietnamese edits so to enable vietnamese language to be written using chinese characters a bit similar to the koreans, jap and much more.

"and they are called Southeast Asian monkeys" that really funny because the vietnamese people manage to resist cynicisation by revolt when the Viet saw sinusization as chinese aggression against local customs for our history .This beef manifested in the form of rebellions so funny that they are salty about our independence like our heroine like Trưng Trắc and Trưng Nhị so basically the Vietnamese woman are badass and so much more .Especially when we defeated the Mongolian,France and America.
We have an old Vietnamese adage "Giặc đến nhà đàn bà phải đánh" mean When the enemy is at the gate, the woman goes out fighting and the quote actually means that fighting in war is inappropriate for women and its only when the situation is so desperate that the war has spread to their home then women should enter the war

"However, many Chinese marry Vietnamese brides, and Vietnamese seem to like Chinese TV dramas more than other countries" That true and we do have many Chinese marry Vietnamese brides and we do like Chinese TV dramas such as Running Man, Crime Scene and Happy Camp but mostly about history and most popular are Journey to the West and other about Historical period, Political drama but we do air other tv show from Taiwan,Korea,Hong Kong and recently India.Chinese romance novels are also enjoying marked popularity among young girls in Vietnam.

You can ask me some questions if you like about Vietnam.

Well~
I've come back. I haven't been here for three months. I'm sorry that I'm still busy after the exam because of many things. A lot of things have happened during this period. Although it's been a long time, I will reply to the questions in this post one by one。
Good to see you come back. I honestly thought you had been thrown in the gulag.

Besides Phigros, is there a single game from mainland China that isn't a pay-to-win scam?
I haven't played the game you said, but most mobile games in China use this kind of in-game recharge method。

How based are you?
I'm sorry, I don't understand the English network language, so I didn't understand what you mean。

I know China at one stage was infamous for these type of three wheelers, LSEVs and bikes. Are they still common?
Yes, it's very common in rural areas and some small cities。

In America, the city of Detroit is considered to be a horrible place that nobody wants to live in. What's the closest equivalent in China?
Generally speaking, in China's administrative divisions, the places called county towns (县城,xiancheng)are equivalent to the transition zone between rural areas and big cities. Many of these places are full of dilapidated buildings, industrial pollution, and a lot of low-quality population (as well as the areas where migrant workers are concentrated in some big cities), and because of low wages, Most of the people who live here will go to bigger cities to look for jobs.

However, I remember the impression that Detroit gives people is that there are many black people and high crime rate. Compared with China, maybe Guangzhou is more similar. It is said that there are a large number of black people staying illegally here。
How do the Chinese view the West's economy? Over here there's lots of positive stories in the mainstream media but everyone I know privately and on forums things the dollar is going to have some bad times, soon. Is America still regarded as super-rich and successful in China or do people there also think it's in trouble?
There are also many countries in the West. When people refer to the United States, Western Europe and Japan, they certainly think that they are very rich, but they are also gradually declining. In the future, China's GDP will exceed that of the United States. India and Latin America have very bad economies. As for the U.S. dollar, domestic media often publicize that serious inflation is taking place in the United States, and the U.S. dollar will be replaced in the future, although it still dominates at present.

In the domestic propaganda, shooting and racial discrimination cases occur every day in the United States, and a large number of people die in the epidemic. There is a huge gap between the rich and the poor. There are many vagrants and parades frequently, so it is a declining country. However, there are still a large number of students who want to study here (because of presidential decree 10043, some students' visa was rejected, many people are worried about it), and there are also many rich people and officials who want to immigrate to the United States。

Please come back soon, we need to know that you’re safe. :feels:
Thank you very much. I'm safe。😊

Is CWCki banned?
No, almost no one knows about the site。

Hi! Vietnamese here
Nice to meet you! Sorry, what I said may offend you, but I can only repeat what I have observed on the Internet. I don't know enough about Vietnam, so I can't guarantee that it is comprehensive and objective.

I know what you said about the history of Vietnam, but I'm sorry I didn't understand the meaning of this paragraph "that really funny because the vietnamese people manage to resist cynicisation by revolt when......."

With regard to Vietnam, our attitude towards this country is actually very interesting, because Vietnam implements a socialist system similar to that of China, and the latter reform has become a market economy, so there are many similarities with China. On our network, there is a Chinese who has lived in Vietnam for many years. He often publishes videos introducing Vietnam in Chinese. In the videos, he criticizes Vietnam's system, economy, women's rights and other issues. But in fact, people who often watch his videos all know that he is using Vietnam to imply China, and the Vietnam issues he mentions will make people think that he is talking about China. Another meme on the Internet is to use the word "Vietnam" instead of "China" to express satire on China. For example, to say "this is Vietnam News" under China's negative news and to replace China with Vietnam in articles criticizing China's problems. Sorry, you may be angry about this, but it's a way for people to evade word censorship, The main Satirized irony is also China itself。

On the question of Vietnam, I would like to ask, because I have read the news that some people have been sentenced to more than ten years' imprisonment by Vietnam for the crime of subverting the state power. How much control does Vietnam have over speech? Will people be arrested for criticizing leaders? What do Vietnamese think of their own government and communism and Ho Chi Minh?

In addition, I don't know if you know Touhou. Domestic Touhou fans often call themselves "the Communist Party of Vietnam". The meme of the Communist Party of Vietnam comes from abroad. Because they are good at hiding in the woods for guerrilla warfare, it is used to describe those who often hide their identity but suddenly appear in large numbers at some times, This is used to describe the large number of touhou fans in China. By the way, this picture is a Chinese animation. The protagonist is also called the Communist Party of Vietnam because his T-shirt looks like the Vietnamese national flag。

So it's essentially the same thing that happened to Detroit after the auto manufacturers left the city.
In the domestic propaganda, shooting and racial discrimination cases occur every day in the United States, and a large number of people die in the epidemic.
This is technically true, but Asians have been targeted for allegedly bringing COVID to the country. Other than that, it's the usual reasons why people get shot: Pulled a weapon on the cops, money, drugs, failing relationship, occasionally over sex.
There is a huge gap between the rich and the poor.
This is true, to an extent. But wealth is dependent on how good of a career that you have and how you spend your money... Or how large one's stake is within a gang.
There are many vagrants and parades frequently, so it is a declining country.
Well, it's Pride Month where we're supposed to celebrate the injustices that the LGBT community have experienced, but not here, though.
As for the U.S. dollar, domestic media often publicize that serious inflation is taking place in the United States, and the U.S. dollar will be replaced in the future, although it still dominates at present
The inflation is caused by the stimulus checks that everyone's been getting, but it's not as drastic as it sounds. But it's essentially unforeseeable to replace the dollar. Sure, we have crypto, but so does everyone else.
On the question of Vietnam, I would like to ask, because I have read the news that some people have been sentenced to more than ten years' imprisonment by Vietnam for the crime of subverting the state power. Like Thailand, one can be arrested for speaking out against the government and internet censorship isn't as strong as China's. But there have been reports of journalists being mauled for speaking out against the government. Apparently, the newspapers have a some leeway in what they publish, but it's taboo to talk about an official's spending habits. Visual art and literature has to be pre-approved by the government.

Aside from the usual bells and whistles of censoring media, I'm not sure if it's any different from any other country that relies on it. Except that the government wasn't in a rush to blacklist porn, for some reason.

Like how India is holding webmasters to be legally responsible for the content that their users submit to their site and the officials are throwing a tantrum at Twitter for dragging their feet. Or how Thailand's king went on a "vacation" in Germany, a few months ago, because the public is pissed off on how they can't criticize the government. The military might have made a power grab, but I didn't check on that country, lately.
