I am sick and tired of shitty DMCA takedown notices - DMCA tackdowns on the weekends as a form of profit

Holy fucking jesus, I get at least three of these a week, and I'm sick and fucking tired of it. Here's what happens:

You play a game on YouTube. It has music in it. You get a DMCA takedown notice about 2 minutes before 5pm ET on Friday for the video. Only the takedown notice isn't from the actual company that made the game or the rights company that manages the music - it's from a shitty company that holds the rights to really garbage covers of that same music.

It happens every friday at 4:55-ish pm ET, right before the weekend. It's like their shit fucking business model is to place ads on as many videos as humanly possible that remotely represents the cover music over the weekend and try to rake in as much money as they can, hoping the channel owner doesn't notice or file a counter claim over the weekend.

I'm so fucking sick of this shit.

It appears the only person doing the dumb thing here is you for continuously trying to utilize Youtube for anything other than watching Baby Shark and Fail Compilations.

YouTube is fucked. They bugged integration with Google Drive through Google Photos over a year ago, and rather than fix it or admit that the daisy chain of cloud services doesn't work for some (most?) customers anymore, they just simplified the graphic on YT to "import from Google Photos" instead. I now assume everything is equally pozzed behind the scenes.

Regrets that the goyim can compete with the idiot box for the attention of rhetards?

Just thinking out loud. The YouTube adpocalypse/DMCA mania has been like AIDS, cancer and the 1918 superflu combined.

This should go in a Lolcow & Lolcow LLP general thread, but there isn't one. This isn't a DMCA claim, it's straight-up extortionate bullying by a Lolcow LLP.

Helping a friend with dumbass lawyer problems. He asked me to suggest a good email address to reply to a takedown request his host forwarded him from a really stupid lawyer.

The takedown request is the equivalent of tortious interference, at the minimum. It just looks like a threatening message sent to the hosting provider. He wants to troll these retarded lawyers into court by responding to the takedown from an obnoxious email such as:
legal+[descriptor]@[offending-domain] like legal+retard-lawyer-unit@domain.com.

(Techs and people that aren't stupid will understand the significance of the + operator in this situation.)

I told him it's not good to touch the poo. But that made me wonder what is the proper response to bitch-slap a lawyer for going behind the alleged offender's back and encouraging the host to breach contract? Is there recourse for an attempted tortious interference committed by a lawyer?

Inquiring minds and shits 'n giggles alike.
