I believe a therapist and psychiatrist are two different things. Psychiatrist prescribed medication, therapist works through your issues.

Can't imagine the broken bones, on a normal woman it's bad but add 560 pounds on that skeleton. Plus all the aging that comes from menopause, most women go on HRT.

Last year, we did a Kiwi investigation on the counseling mill they attend. There are no psychiatrists on staff. I don't know how often she goes, but it seemed like Becky and Eric -who see the same "girl"- went every few weeks. Albert recently couldn't get them to call in a refill for her meds, and they don't do that unless you haven't seen them in the past three months. So.. it was over three months since she'd been in at one point.

After a gynaecological cancer she would indeed be needing regular gyn/onc followup appointments (including internal exams) for a minimum of 5 years. Generally three monthly or thereabouts for the first two years, then six monthly until 5 years post hysterectomy... and that's only if there are no signs of further cancer in the meantime.

HRT is very rarely prescribed post gynaecological cancer due to the increased risk of further estrogenic cancer. Her bone density isn't at risk due to her enormous weight. Her bones would be extremely dense as a result of all the weight bearing they do. Most body builders couldn't regularly lift the amount of weight she does. Even constantly lifting her fork to her mouth is major weight bearing exercise as she lifts those enormous arms, let alone every step she takes to shuffle her enormous body from bed to toilet to kitchen. She's very unlikely to be estrogen deficient due to her huge fat stores, plus estrogen supplementation isn't the go to treatment after gynaecological cancer due to risk with calcium, D3, and B12 supplements so easy to get. If they don't do the job then there are always denosumab injections that are used twice yearly.
