I'm fine with that kind of collapse, particularly if the American Military industrial complex falls with it. There's perks and problems with it, but I would like to see a multipolar world over a unipolar one myself, many advantages lost but many more gained. One day it'll happen too.

There's always going to be shitty people that do shitty things, you can try to make things as secure as possible but using it as an excuse for never ending military action is bullshit, if anything it's only going to create more terrorism.

They actually made a movie in the 1990s about terrorism called The Siege that contrasted Bruce Willis's character's military approach to handling terrorism with Denzel Washington's character's FBI approach and the movie concluded that terrorism should be treated as a criminal act, not a military matter.

I wouldn't have minded if the government called the call to action post 9/11 for what it really was, a War on Al Quaida and the Second Gulf War.

What I didn't mind was killing off the actual terrorists who killed people on our soil and seize up their shit to tell them "do not fuck with us". What I did mind was masquerading it up as a moral crusade and foreign policy and of the shit regarding oil. At least be honest that you're going in for the fucking oil and taking that over.
