I've been busy.
After Brianna decided to retweet all of Jace's stuff I went to a place I knew I could contact her and did. I wanted to try and talk her out of pressing any charges, assuming that she was. After dealing with 3 different people, she spoke.
Almost immediately after I was emailed by a writer at the Boston Globe. His email is from @globe.com and he responded to emails sent to that domain.
The call was 22 minutes long. It was entirely focused on Jace, except 2 questions regarding:
1) How he knew Wu.
2) How I knew Jace.
A lot of the early questions were about stuff that would obviously be in a "#GamerGate Death Threats" article. Is Jace a Gamer? Is he for GamerGate? Were there guns? But, he also took a particular interest in the Tyce fight video.
I just gave him the truth, the extended truth, because I like to talk a lot. Jace is very harmless and he only beat up Tyce because of drug money, Operation Tupacolypse (try explaining that to a fucking boston globe writer), and because Tyce challenged him to a fight. He asked me afterwards, "so that was like an unique thing?" and I told him yes.
At the beginning of the call he was typing a lot. By the end he was typing a lot less. Fewer things of what I said interested him. He either got his story that a deranged lunatic is trying to kill Missus Wu, or he got no story because nobody would take Jace seriously.
We're still having a bit of an exchange. He's watching that "woah" video that has the threat and sniffing out crime line. I'm sending him links to the airsoft gun and semper fidelis $13 knife wiki pages.
