No, it doesn't. What would be the power level ranking of how bad these people are, including the current defendants?

I thought Schemmel was skinnier than that. This bad:
Up until his conviction, Scott Freeman wasn't officially fired. Let that sink in. A guy who was arrested and indicted for child porn remained a Funimation contractor up until the moment he was convicted. Which is fine. I understand not wanting to officially fire someone until the court speaks (I could also understand them letting him go because At-Will).I thought Schemmel was skinnier than that.
What kind of standards does Funimation hold their VAs to if this is ok but Vic has to go?

It was probably a bunch of people inside like Rial and Sabat who don't like Vic for political reasons and had to instigate investigations in order to find some PR purpose to fire him. I hope we get some interesting discovery out of FunimationBut Vic just has accusations thrown at him, with what appears to be a sham investigation, and he gets the boot plus some defamation on top.
Im pretty sure there would be no case if he would have a controlling share of AT&T. also, dotn forget RT, they are also owned by AT&T.Iago is Adam Sheehan- he owns both VRV and Crunchyroll and CR has the most influence in every convention big and small (I should know I am hosting one in september)
Especially with these moments Vic shared with him and considered him a friend before all this.
It's the optimism talking since Strait stayed quiet and didn't generate noticeable drama like the major players have.We have video evidence of Monica liking Vic a few weeks before she stabbed him in the back, so I wouldn't put much stock into evidence of past friendships.
That was a real good reason to keep a careful eye on Sonny since that video was filmed prior to the KV movement and he was just as much into that spoof as Stiff Schmuckels was. This is the optimism talking. May Strait turn out to be Iago, he better realize that he screwed up and pick up the pieces.Sonny Strait was in that video with Sean Schemmel that portrayed Vic as a pedo, so there's that.
My take:
Iago: Justin Cook
Reasoning: What I keyed into most was I thought was the best hard evidence I saw in the OP: Ty Beard has talked to him and thought his voice was whiny. Sabat in normal voice is very baritone, evidenced in his commentaries and interviews. He describes his voice of Zoro in One Piece, a very baritone voice, as a walk in and speaking role. Cook's normal voice could be described as a bit nasally and whiny. And he has a bit of a punk-ish feel to his personality that would be annoying to someone like Ty.
He has kept a very low profile after Yu Yu Hakusho. Has been doing mostly production, ADR, and OCCASIONAL voice work, mostly as secondary characters since the end of that series for both Funimation and Otakron 5000. Could easily influence who voices what.
Also, being more behind the scenes than anyone else mentioned, who knows what he has done? Probably does his best to keep the low profile, as he could be the "Power behind the Throne" type. He would be acting through intermediaries, and therefore keeping his hands clean. It would blend into my Igor take below.
With Cook and Burgmeier behind the scenes and moving under the radar, they're wild cards that're possible candidates for Iago.Hello,
Registered to toss in a few observations. I'm a blatant weeb, and I have been watching a lot of the dubbing studios come and go. Just watching this unfold, reading as best as I can to catch up. Up until recently, I was a fan of Funimation's works, mostly because of the behind the scenes content (Yu Yu Hakusho was loaded with myth and culture in the original DVD run,) though this lessened over the years. This quagmire with Vic has turned me sour on them.
One of the things to consider is that the Iago might not even be in the group that are obviously mentioned to be sued at all. Funimation is more than just who has been mentioned, though who have been mentioned are the ones that stand out. The company has a lot of people that haven't been heard about for a while, that could easily be overlooked. I also suspect they have to be working in anime long enough to get their proverbial claws into as many facets of the field, so at least over a decade, perhaps two.

Additional Alternatives:
-John Burgmeier, the voice of Kurama. Fits everything I previously mentioned, but on the fence whether or not his voice would be whiny to Ty's ear. He also has his mother (the voice of Genkai for Hakusho, Linda Young,) working for Funimation as well.
-Ken Fukunaga, Funimation founder. As president of the company, he would hold massive influence over conventions and VAs, as he would put terms in the contract specifications. Funds tied in a project per the OP are probably him negotiating with Sony. Also, he would be in a position to say FU to Igor with defense funds/support. But as with Brgmeier, his voice on the interviews on YT doesn't seem whiny, at least to me.
Igor: Sabat
Reasoning: Acting as an intermediary for Iago, they have a long relationship (Hakusho came out in the late 90s/early 2000s.) Could be a frenimy situation. He may put up a front, but behind the facade, he may be as the OP described. But he is out there, taking the brunt of the damage from ISWV and others, hiding the true manipulator.
As for Renfield, I'm not sure. I can't get my mind around who it is. Sorry for not being complete on that one. Renfield has been mentioned by KF per the OP, but I just don't know enough about them.
Thoughts? I know I'm late to the party, as it were.
Justin Cook is the person who originally wanted Vic to audition for Ed in Fullmetal Alchemist, his biggest role. If he's against Vic, it's a newer development.Hello,

Gen Fukunaga is supposedly fond of Vic. I think it's more likely Iago and the rest didn't do this sooner because he was around.

For the original series.Interesting. Was that for the 2004 original or the 2009 Brotherhood? There is a lot of time there for bad blood to generate.
I appreciate hearing critiques. It had been rattling around my mind for the last few days.
