The "living rent free in your head" thing is by far the stupidest expression to come out of Gamergate and it seems to be the only one still being used, even more than "virtue signaling." It doesn't even make sense, none of your other thoughts pay rent, thinking about a thing does not mean it has some sort of power over you, saying a thing sucks doesn't mean it has somehow outsmarted you for being noticed and existing in your mind.
