Not sure if anyone responded to this, but the crust on her tattoo looks pretty normal to me. It looks like she's about a week or two into the healing process where the tattoo peels as the new layer of skin heals over the tattoo, as in the early stages, its an open wound. It isn't infected, it'd be swollen and the skin would be red around the tattoo, but it sure does look like she isn't using a good amount of moisturizer. It's important to not moisturize too much, but too little and the tattoo will form into a thicker scab, the ink will peel off and it will look faded/blotchey.

Also 1000% agree with the users linking the tattoos to her hairline receding. Her immune system, probably already bogged down by her disgusting eating habits, is having to work overtime every single time she gets a new tattoo. Even moreso because of the sizes and the colors.
