you answered your question. he doesn't want feedback to improve himself, he wants it all figured out for him. exceeding hurtful truth level just makes any criticism, trolling. if you want to "help", send him a woman. forget trying to fix him, he's broken.

If he really wanted to get better and fix his life he would get up and do it. Chris being on disability could apply for therapy through his state Medicare or Medicaid and also apply for an apartment. He could do a lot to better his life and since he is an Adult with Autism he could join a support group. Sitting on his bum convinced the world is out to stop his Heart Sweet search is easier than facing up to the reality of what he has done or admitting he even did it.

Blame really effective conditioning. Borb taught him that he can do no wrong, that the world is out to get him, that there's always someone else who should take the blame and that should do the work. So he still clings to all of that, and until Barb says "you need to clean yourself up and actually talk to people if you genuinely want a sweetheart" he won't let it go.

any advice you could give him would almost certainly require Chris admitting that he's been wrong, and actually doing things well outside of his comfort-zone. He's never ever going to do that. Instead, he'll sit there and wail for someone to fix everything for him. He literally wants people to meet a girl for him at this point. He wants that girl to have money, and be well organized, so she can take care of him better. it's beyond ridiculous.

Chris basically wants to throw a handfull of legos in the air and have them land in the form of an intricate castle. So there he'll sit, throwing legos in the air forever. If you come by and tell him that he's actually going to have to do the work of planning an executing the castle, he'll ignore you.

Reading this made me wonder if Barb or Bob ever tried to give Chris good advice/motivate him earlier in his life. IIRC Bob was the one that wanted him to go to college. They must have realized after sometime after that that Chris was more or less a lost cause. If they hadn't been so against any form of psychological therapy Chris might be in a better position socially and financially today.

Not really. Chris just wants what every other American wants. He wants to lose weight by eating ice cream. He wants to win the lotto and be financially secure forever.
