Brutal autocratic regime. Country is DPRK levels of isolationist, suspicious of outsiders and immigrants. At one time, there was scheming and shit-talking taking place behind closed doors in these groups, but they were supposedly laid low by a mysterious figure, a sort of boogeyman spoken of in hushed tones by residents, and his terrifying companion known in the local tongue as "Sleep".
The nation has survived much, both attacks from without and within, but it's said that their brutal leader's patience wears thin, and a time they call "The Bloodletting" looms ever closer.
