I'm hearing people complain way too much about Discussion. So when I was in chat wishing I had admin powers to do something about it, I remembered I actually did and now I'm doing something about it.
Posts are now being aggressively vetted for quality. What this means is that extraordinarily low-quality posts will be deleted by staff on a "Know it when I see it" approach. This doesn't mean Discussion is now being held to the same high standard of post approval as Updates, but it does mean that a lot of posts will go missing from Discussion as long as people keep contributing extraordinarily low quality posts to this board.
These three things are mainly what we're looking for when we remove a low-quality post:

- Outright or surreptitiously insulting Chris. Nobody wants to hear how he's a useless welfare leech who needs to die. You're posting here and discussing him in detail. Obviously he has some value to you, so can it.
- Replies consisting of nothing more than images or YouTube videos. I don't care if you use YouTube to illustrate a point you're making, but when you post a video of a man eating shit on a plate saying "ha ha dis is chris" then I'm terminating it with extreme prejudice.
- all lower case posts wit bad speling and grammer. if u don't like it den i fucked ur mom
