I was gonna make a giant ass OP, but fuck it.

Probably like 90%+ of this website's members are more than little familiar with imageboards and imageboard culture.

I want to discuss them.

So, my question is, when Hiroyuki took over 4chan, there were all sorts of rumors that he was going to try to monetize it in unethical ways. So far, I haven't seen any evidence of that. Has there been any indication that he's been up to anything?

The controversy surrounding Hiroyuki is mostly based in his (alleged) history of shady dealings with 2ch and Jim (who recently took over 8chan)
I don't think there's really any evidence, it's just speculation
