In need of help: Wifi disconnects when PC shuts down. -

We've been suffering this problem for 2 days now. It never happened before and I hope you guys can help me.

Currently using a REALTEK TRL8187 Wireless LAN Utility. I need to fix this before leaving.

How do you know that your Wifi's disconnected when your PC shuts down?

Call your ISP and get them to replace your modem. Most likely it's a problem with your modem. There's very little we can recommend you do otherwise.

Unless your referring to your laptop being incapable of getting a wireless connection after you shut it down. Which likely means that the specific wireless adapter is damaged or you need to replace/update your drivers.

If it's another problem entirely we'd need more information.
