I have always found the incel obsession with the "purity" of women to be both confusing and distinctly off-putting, especially when they seem to venerate the sex-having Chads. I wonder where it comes from. I can think of four or so primary explanations:

1. Pedos.
2. Religious upbringing where virginity was considered actually important or exist in a cultural osmosis where that perception still exists even if the religious nature of it has faded in prominence.
3. Many incels are still young and do not understand that pretty much everyone has sex throughout their lives, and rarely does anyone stay with one person for their entire life.
4. Inceldom comes from a lack of power, and incels resent the idea that having someone can exert the power they do not have: the ability to have sex.

Even factoring in those explanations, it is just odd to me that anyone would be so immensely preoccupied by the fact that someone they're dating had previous sex partners like the incels do. I would be concerned if my current partner never had sex prior to meeting me. Really, what does it matter, though?

All that, and they figure that if you date someone who has dated/fucked other people before you, they'll probably date/fuck others after you as well.
