Indie Comics - Fantagraphics, Drawn & Quarterly, Top Shelf, what have you

So today I stumbled on this post on this thread:
My man, you have exquisite taste. Love and Rockets is a sorely underrated series and then some. It's also a prime example of a comic that meets a majority of the dangerhair's demands, but they don't ever acknowledge it for whatever arbitrary reason: it's written by men, it's an indie comic... whatever. Their loss, I suppose.

But seriously, time and again the dangerhairs prove that they don't care about anything produced that would be to their tastes, yet try to crowbar shit into where it's not supposed to be, typically the popular stuff. There's plenty of indie titles, especially produced by companies like Drawn & Quarterly, Top Shelf, and Fantagraphics that have that kind of material. But, no, because it's not from The Big Two (and even Image), people don't give a shit.
And it got me thinking about all the comics and graphic novels I read throughout high school by these companies. In particular, I loved Black Hole and anything by Daniel Clowes. So think of this as a place to sperg about indie/alt comics.
